I'm so glad I got off the interstate! Yelpers led me here and I thank you!While it was busy the service was spot on.I got the sampler.It's a LOT of food! But all so good!I did take a lot of it home.Worth the stop.

This past Sunday we met up with our daughter, son-in-law and the grands to celebrate her birthday in McDonough at the Gritz Family Restaurant. The restaurant is one of our go to locations and it didn't disappoint. To kick things off we decided to try something from the appetizer menu that we haven't had so we went with the Southwest Chicken Eggs Rolls and they were awesome. The grandson decided to try a kids burger and all he could say it was delicious. All of our meals were delicious and our service was amazing. A special shout out to our server Katie for taking such good care of us. Great Food + Great Service= We Will Be Back!!

Great country eating, breakfast, and lunch. Staff is courteous and friendly. Definitely do breakfast there one day. Would recommend

Service is good... the Gritz I was expecting to be fire. Especially, because it is called "Gritz" but they were lumpy like Waffle House Gritz. I think it is more so of a brunch where you get sandwiches and sides.

I wanted to give this place 4 stars but ultimately the food is the basis for the rating. It lacked flavor and the quality of the ingredients was just ok. The service was very good and they were very busy. I had the turkey and dressing which I would not recommend. I did enjoy the side of chicken and dumplings (not pictured). Also my daughter had breakfast and it looked really good. So I'll go back because I really want to like this place due to location and pricing.

This place was amazing!!! Fried food/southern food lovers paradise. Very friendly staff, cool decorations, clean on the inside. Very attentive and quick servers. And my favorite part is the price! Reminds me of pre covid times when you could get a full meal for under $12 We want to come back and try the breakfast sometime too. Need I say more? Definitely come try the goodness!!

Nice older restaurant on the square with good old southern non healthy lol but good food! Prices are great! Service was okay! Went one time would definitely try them again!!!

Amazing food and great service and awesome small town vibes. Definitely coming back again.

The food and and service is very good. If you're around McDonough, it's a great spot for country style breakfast
