Stop by this place while running errands since it is on the way. Ordered Tuna melt sandwich with sour dough bread. It came with a small tiny pickle. Sour dough bread was good, the chewy kind.There may have been a little too much mayo and not as much tuna. Would have like to see some more texture in the tuna mix (cucumber, lettuce, celery of some kind).Never been here before covid, but there are a couple tables outside, but a lot of road noise and it was a cold day. So was not idea. There aren't any seating in the restaurants at this time.They no longer give out WiFi codes. Was hoping to do some work during lunch but wasn't able to. Cashier was nice.

One of the BEST vanilla lattes I've had on a while!!! And the banana walnut bread was amazing. I loved the brown sugar on top, it was so crumbly and moist and perfect. Will be back!

It's a pretty place. I ordered the honey rose latte on the specials menu. The pastry selection looks nice and I ordered the orange scone. There is a sign of the bakery they come from. It's a nice partnership and the cookies look really good too.

The service is terrible. Mostly very rude and unfriendly. They forgot part of our order ( although replaced with a different item), took an incredibly long time to make our sandwiches, and the coffee was not good at all. Americano was very watery. My $14 veggie sandwich was full of oil and just fell apart. Customer service is not their jam at all!! Very arrogant and curt responses to requests. Lastly very overpriced. Not at all worth it for what you get in terms of the food, coffee and experience as a whole. It's a shame there is not a nice cafe to go to between two residential communities on Sandpoint! " Gretchen's" should rename to " Grouchies" or " Grizzlies"

Cute place but the two women working the counter had no personality. No 'good morning' , she put the drink on the counter with: here is your coffee, then when I said thank you, no ' you're welcome' didn't offer to heat up my croissant. And no eye contact through our entire interaction. But good business form if you want a customer to come back. Coffee and croissant was good tho.

Great little place! Great service, good coffee, pastries and breakfast sandwiches. Amazing pastry selection and menu items! Prices are on the higher side but everyone is raising their prices... support local!

Their $15 pastrami sandwich gives you just a tad over 2.5 ounces of pastrami . The best & most expansive pastrami sandwich is in New York . One of the most expansive cities in the USA . It's $25 but you get 8oz of the best pastrami in the country. To just get even close , a $15 pastrami sandwich in Seattle should at least have 4.5 ounces pastrami. It's still average pastrami vs the best . But giving average pastrami & and 1/2 the portion to the best is just a rip off..Dieter

Unfriendly service, almost hostile when I told them my doppio tasted burnt. She said my taste must have changed! They also mixed up our pastry order. The door was wide open on this rainy, cold day. Very uncomfortable. No mas.

Disappointing service. Great location. They always forget to make my food order or get it wrong and my drinks are always cold. I have had to remind them of my order (just a bagel and cream cheese) the past 3 times in a row and waited forever even when it wasn't busy.

I like their turkey panini & espresso. Their espresso taste is well balanced. Sandwiches are delicious and healthy.
