Green Tea Chinese Restaurant

This was the place to dine local good food while growing up. People came to hang and have drinks here before the night ends. Haven't been back in a few years now. The guy that was our first waiter from 20 years ago is still here, now a manager. He still recognizes us and came to say hi. I wish I can say the food was great but sadly, I can't. The chicken within the orange chicken were like jerky. Same with the fried calamari. The flavor of the calamari was fine but the texture were extra cooked. The beef in the pepper steak were ok and kind of tender, but the flavor was just salty and the veggies on top were over cooked and browned with sauce. Not pleasing to the eyes. The ginger scallion twin lobster also wasn't great. Lobster texture tasted fresh but the sauce could have been better. Also not much flavor, just salty. I really wish I can give praise because this is like a landmark for Lynn. I hope they'll get better.

I have passed by this place maybe 1000 times before someone told me they tried it before and I finally decided to go in. I'll be honest it doesn't look like much from the outside, actually the decor itself is kinda dated but the service is good, the food is pretty good too. At this point I've been several times. They have several options for lobster (the Thai is by far my favorite). The Lulu platter and general tso chicken is good too. The drinks come out fast and they're pretty good reasonably priced too. Overall there are a ton of negative reviews but this place isn't half bad, the portions are big, it's not 5 star but for value I like it.

The good: Peppery shrimp and twin lobster ON POINT!!!, service was good, overall cleanliness was good, price was reasonable, portions were ok not too big but not too small either.The Bad: the day we went there was no desert for no apparent reason, bathroom could've been a little bit more clean, can or bottle beers not a lot of options.Overall would come back just for the food or maybe order take out

I just ordered from here was so excited but omg The kung pao chicken was bad tasted expired And literally looked like stuff was chewed and thrown in absolutely horrible im so sad used to be my favorite place food taste and quality very poor it literally looked like I was served everyone's leftovers I hope I don't get sick if I do it's here fyi

GROSSSSSSSS! ! ! I was there today. I had heard that this place had gone downhill so I read the reviews, which weren't good. I tried talking my friend out of going there but they wanted the twin lobster special. Not much of a special for $30!!! First of all the place looks abandoned from the outside. I thought it had gone out of business. Nothing that makes it look Chinese. My mai tai didn't resemble a traditional mai tai. Was juice and juice. Pan fried raviolis were sent back because they were burnt on one side, poo poo plater greasy and didn't have many different things on it. I could go on and on but I think you get it. They couldn't even put a fortune cookie on the bill... cheap! Seem like they cut corners and think it's unnoticed. Yuck. Go somewhere else.

Service absolutely horrible I know it's hard but we had Employee chase us out for tip to our car I know you work hard for your money but also do we. If it's mandatory put a sign at your door saying tip is mandatory. And lobster wasent good it had Very strong smell .

Ordered for delivery well in advanced of when they closed. To be called 1.5 hours later, pasted midnight, that they did not see the order. I got simple call saying, we will refund you the money, our kitchen did not see the order and delivery closed up early. Now I have guests from Maine, who don't have food due to a delayed flight and we are looking options in the middle of the night. Thank you Green Tea for the impeccable service yet again!

Today, we decided to order takeout early to avoid the crowd. We arrived at 12:00, at opening. Unfortunately, being one of the first didn't make for a decent meal. The food looked rushed. The rice was dark and sticky. The orange chicken chunked and the added syrup was thick which made the plate unappealing. The establishment's response: Sorry, we do our best to make sure your food is good. We will not patronize the establishment again. Not sorry.

VERY impressed with the cleanliness, ambiance and service at this place. Looks like one hard working lady was serving the whole place but our neck of the woods was pretty close to the front door and couldn't see sections behind us. The food was super fresh, and tasty and LOVED the jumbo shrimp in the lobster sauce. Mai Tai packed a punch the first time out, should have stuck to just the one. Also happy my hubby's fishing buddy let us take home the leftover, eating it all as I type this. Lol

Never ordering from them again..Lynn location .. we ordered our food at 4:20pm and it never got delivered until 7pm and it was cold.. we called 3 times 5:45, 6:15, and 6:50 and all they said was "driver is backed up " and your food is on the way..we live 5 mins away They were rude and did not offer any solutions..we asked for our money back and cancel the order and they hung up..Terrible service..should report to the BBB
