Yummy Buddha bowl and beet drink! Helpful staff and easy walk order process, close to downtown area. I'll definitely be back.

This place is amazing. Health food that doesn't sacrifice flavor & enjoyment for the sake of being healthy. Food that you can feel great about eating & thats great for you. I personally recommend the buddha bowl with mixed dressing. Their juices are great too. Service is super fast and easy to order with a walk-up tablet & you have a nice shaded area with seating right beside. Ive had alot of health focused food that just doesn't hit the mark wether it be over the top or just not tasty. This place blows those stereotypes out of the water with a great mix of rice, beans, and avocado along with all the essential greens and this is coming from someone who doesn't normally have a large amount of fruits and vegetables as apart of my diet. They certainly will be now, this place deserves all the praises go and try it. Hands down the best health food on Vashon. Your body and your taste buds will thank you.

YUM. Love their bowls. Their raw pizza is so good, if they have it, get it! Love the outdoor seating. Love the warm and friendly service. Handy to order ahead on their app.

Vashon's oasis of clean, healthy & satisfying eats! The owner, Stephanie(?), does an amazing job with the variety of hearty, nourishing & cleansing entrees. Think buddha bowls, raw salad, a mix of both and everything in between. Not to mention, she soaks almost/all of her legumes and grains before cooking for optimal digestion. Preset menu items themselves are awesome. While olive oil is one of the frequent sources of moisture, you could also opt out and ask for alternatives, such as lemon/squeeze and/or fresh ginger juice/puree. Also just as awesome is making a meal of her sides because there are days where simplicity strikes the mood (for example, beans, greens & grains with a dressing, lemon or ginger juice). The treats also feel good going down. Muffins with lemon or cardamom to the stout yet hefty cacao/cowboy/cowgirl(?) cookies; this is good stuff. I need to try more smoothies! I think the sole nut milk(s) are made in-house (brown rice milk?). Definitely go for some fresh ginger. Wa-P0W!Staff generally consists of her and/or helpers who all seem to take great pride in working in such a healthy small establishment that packs a punch. The cozy lil shack is clean, crisp and a bit small/outdated which means the door(s) can often be propped open for improved circulation/ventilation. The menu penmanship is really wonderful and the electronic ordering system is quite good and intuitive.Oh, you lucky Vashon, you!*** This review was written during the local COVID-19 Advisory as businesses were limiting operations. Stephanie is the best. She's friendly and knows how to put the best smoothies together for my wife and youngest daughter. They're both sold on her and so am I. Highly recommend trying them out.

This place is DIVINE. Delicious and nutritious. Unfortunately, the Indian gal who currently works there doesn't have a knack for taste. I've ordered 3 smoothies from her, and all of them failed the exceptions previously set. She either needs more training or the boot.

This place is a real asset to the island. This is one of the only places where you can get thoughtfully prepared organic vegan food. The ambiance of the cafe leaves something to be desired. And I can imagine some people will find the touchpad ordering to be off putting of confusing or something. For me these are not big issues.I have just now had an extraordinarily delicious bowl of curried soup that has the perfect marriage of texture warmth and spice.I wish everything were a dollar or two cheaper. But, in some sense you have to rationalize that you're subsidizing a low-volume business providing a unique service in a low-population area. And with that backdrop, the cost of the items on the menu does seem worth it to me.

We were visiting the island and took "take out" there. The 2 people working there were very very nice and smiling... they took the time to explain to me the different sauce options with the bowls... The quality of the food/service is great, the prices are good (not expensive for good fresh ingredients). We ate our bowls on the beach facing the Mont Rainier with some hot beverages bought there too. Great! The only thing that I will say it's the hot beverages were a bit too spicy for our taste but whatever it was good because the weather was nice but cold.So if you want an healthy lunch to enjoy outside in Nature, I recommend this place for take out. (For eating inside, if you have a Little One it can be challenging because there is not a lot of tables and space)

This was one of the highlights of our September visit to Vashon. The eatery is easy to find in the downtown area, and is close to neighborhoods and other shops. The one staff member was very kind and friendly, and we talked for a long while about the local area (I'm so sorry, I forgot her name!).The food was fast, tasty, and so healthy! The juices were delicious and offered different flavor profiles (I liked the spicy one a LOT). The oat cookies were an awesome ending to the meal. She told us there was a seasonal pumpkin curry(?) coming soon, and we were sad to be missing it.The staff member went above and beyond catering to us, and even stored our leftovers when we went on a bike tour of the island. This is one of the few places I have been to that feels community-based, and I wish there were more restaurants like it.There is some seating out front with umbrellas for shade. They make the most out of the space they have, and I will definitely be returning the next time we visit Seattle.
