Working in the Loop, reminded me of Manhattan, which means lunch options are often too expensive. Sometimes you just need some quick cheap eats, before going back to the desk. This was one option I found nearby. You will need to head to the basement for the food court. Food + Service: 4/5The female cashier was super nice and friendly. I was stuck between 3 dishes and she helped lean to the beef pho. The dish was ready in less than 15mins, so fast! The broth, very simple, nothing to write home about, the meat present and tasty, and the sides (bean sprouts, basil, etc) fresh. I was very satisfied for the price and convenience. All in all, looking for a quick affordable bite close to the office, not a bad option. Is this the best pho, no, but definitely one of the most affordable ones I have had in a downtown area.

There is no pho like basement pho. Crazily, I got soup from them at 9:30am ON A SATURDAY.Specifics FYI: If you're already in the neighborhood and need a quick noodle soup fix, they do the job. They're inside a building's downstairs food court. Credit accepted.

It's not bad for the price. There isn't a lot of good pho in the Loop. I think they do Korean food better. The bulgogi banh mi was massive and it was delicious. The pho tai's broth was a little lacking in other spices. It's in a hidden food court but there's enough seating. There's also a monitor on the side that you can order from if there's no one at the front. It may not be the best if you have mobility problems since there's a flight of stairs you need to go through. At the end, you put away the trash and bring the plates back to the counter.

Fast, delicious and healthy! The chicken bibimbap has a mild-moderate amount of spiciness which is great for those of us that don't have a super high spice tolerance. Extra red pepper sauce is available for those who want to kick it up a notch, though. All the vegetables were delicious- the sesame oil flavor really comes through. I think they should do a name rebrand to focus on Korean food because that's really what they excel at.

No-frills kind of spot, in the heart of the downtown area. But I'm really glad I stopped in. The broth wasn't incredibly deep but hearty. The portion was great for a lunch treat, and lots of rib eye thinly sliced. I really enjoyed the bowl, didn't even add the sprouts or cilantro provided. Perfect as is.

Pretty sad that this is the best pho in the area. The broth was murky and my noodles were one clump. It was not good, and hardly any meat so I consider $17 after tax for a bowl to be expensive. I also got the bibimbap which should be good because they're Korean. Nope. My vegetables were old and wilted. The bulgogi was bland and I got scraps. $16 small portion and still hungry.

This place is pretty hidden, in a underground tiny food hall - but it's a hidden gem! I loved it very much. They have Korean and Vietnamese food. I got a big bowl of Pho and was very happy. It comes with all the sauces (hoisin and sriracha), bean sprouts and thai basil. The broth is ver flavorful and tasty. Great place! Will be back for sure!

Great hidden jam in the downtown! Always served with authentic pho and few phenomenal korean dishes! Their meal kits also come in clutch whether you are in hurry to cook a meal or craving pho or Korean/Asian dishes:) Definitely recommend to preorder their meal kits and enjoy authentic asian cuisine right at your home!

This was first time getting food from Green Apple PHOever and it was quite lackluster. I was excited to see that there was a Vietnamese and Korean restaurant a block away from my work. Decided to try out their bulgogi banh mi. Here are my pros and cons:Pros:- ordering was efficient; they have a self-serve kiosk that you order from. Looked like the machine only accepted card (unsure about Apple Pay)- my order came out very quickly! Granted I went after lunch rush so maybe it was the timing of my visit, but my sandwich came out in less than 5 min- flavors of the sandwich weren't mind blowing but they were enough to satisfy my craving for Asian food.Cons:- I walked one block back to work (~5 min) before I dug into my sandwich but the bread was already sopping wet and turned into mush due to the pickled veggies. Unlike an authentic banh mi, the baguette also lacked the crunchy outer shell. Instead of a French baguette type of bread, it felt more like I was eating a ciabatta sandwich.- they put entire stalks of cilantro in my sandwich, which made taking bites difficult and messy. The cilantro leaves were also black when I opened my sandwich, which makes me think they were not using the freshest produce.- the bulgogi meat was quite stringy and hard to chew. Flavor of the meat wasn't bad but nothing noteworthy. The chewiness really overpowered so I could not really focus on the flavor. Another reason why my sandwich to be pretty difficult and messy to eat.- they charge to-go orders a $.50 fee but I'm not really sure what for. My food came in a regular, unlabeled brown paper lunch sack, with 2 sheets of napkins. I thought for the upcharge, I'd at least get my money's worth but I was just left confused. Just keep in mind you'll have to pay an extra fee if you want to get your order to-go!Overall, this was a quick fix for my lunch today. I would not go out of my way to come here for a special meal, but the experience did not offend me enough to stay away. I'll probably be back if I'm craving Vietnamese or Korean food again while at work since Asian food options around here are limited, but I don't think I'd recommend this place to anyone.
