Grecian Gyro

We made a spontaneous decision to stop by here for lunch. When we went in there was no one, but within 10 minutes half the restaurant was getting packed We happened to come at the perfect time. While the restaurant was empty, the owner gave us a sample of the potatoes with their creamy sauce which was delicious. The staff were very patient and explained what everything was and the words that were difficult to pronounce....which I very much appreciate. The menu is quite simple. They have plates and wraps made of the same ingredients but in different formats. We both chose bowls that were filled with meat, pita bread, potatoes, salad, and three sauces.The food came out quite fast. They actually missed one item (spanakopita), but they gave it to us quickly after we told them about it. The meal felt very balanced and was so flavorful. The fresh salad balanced out the tender, savory meat. The potatoes were just as we sampled... perfectly cooked and tasted amazing with the sauce. The pita bread was warm and soft.I love the casual environment of this restaurant. It's definitely a good place to catch up with friends or to grab a quick bite. The prices are reasonable as well. I would definitely come back again.

I fell in love with Grecian Gyro at the College Park location. The same tradition of tastiness carries over to this Tucker location. I had a souvlaki gyro and it just made my night. I can't remember what my wife had, but it was gone before mine was. Another friend had the falafel and paid it some compliments. (And this is a woman who knows her Greek, be assured.) Service was quick, staff made some good recommendations, and the place was relatively quiet. I tried the ice cream thing they serve here. IMO, don't waste your time with this. There's better ice cream to be had not too far away. But for the Greek goodness? I can't wait to go again. Holler if you're coming with.

Like it says on the Website "Once a Week, Go Greek" so I did. Tired of the burgers, pizza and sandwiches. Let's try something different, well not crazy different just different than most of the choices around me. Wanted a Gyro (wrap) but ended up getting a Gyro plate. This place doesn't skimp on the portions of lamb, something I was happy about. I couldn't get enough of the Grecian sauce this along with the potatoes and salad will fill you up in a hurry. This location sits on its own private lot, so parking is pretty easy. If I had to complain about it would be the staff. Stopped by here on a Saturday afternoon, mostly teenage staff standing around, having friends come in and chat instead of doing much work, I've been a teenager, so I understand how important it is to get the tea, when it's hot. You just shouldn't do it at work. All in all this wasn't so bad that it ruined my experience.

Kind of expensive and if it takes 20+ minutes to fulfill an order, it should not have a drive thru

My second favorite gyro wrap spot. It's close in my neighborhood so I have no complaints. The gyro wrap is usually loaded and it tastes delicious to me. I like the flavor and taste a lot. My go to spot when I want a gyro that is close to me. I don't have to drive far at all for this

We arrived at 8:10 and placed our order. At 8:44 we still had no food, so I inquired on the status. Turns out we paid it, but the order was never put in. No apologies. When we finally got our food...well, it was ok. Just ok. We won't be planning another visit.

Ordered food at the drive through and was once again highly disappointed. Got a Grecian Gyro Wrap with extra tomatoes and onions with a Greek Salad extra Kalamata Olives. The wrap had no sauce and very little tomato and onion. This is the second time this has happened in 6 months, and I used to come to this place at least once a week for the same order. I called and spoke with the shift manager, and he was very kind. He took my name and number and confirmed that the manager would be in on Monday for me to speak with. It's not that I am complaining about service, but the end product is just no where near the same as it used to be. Very skimpy with ingredients...and with the price increases..it's just frustrating and disappointing.
