Great Wok

Amazing that it took us so long to find this place. It's a little hole in the wall in a strip mall. Plenty of convenient parking. You can sit and eat but I think most people take out. If you eat there it is styrofoam and plastic plates and utensils. The service is wonderful and they are so friendly. It's obvious as we sat there that they gave many loyal regulars. Food comes out quickly - and it's piping hot and very tasty. We started with hot and sour soup. The color was lighter than we were used too, but flavor, texture and spiciness were perfect. We had almond chicken and king pao chicken. Both were very good. We found our new Chinese food place. And I just want to reiterate that it's a BONUS to do business with nice people. These people are so kind and courteous. YUMMY FOOD.

This is a family ran business. They are friendly and great service and food. We probably go once a month. Won ton soup is the best we have found in phoenix. Nice people!

I got orange chicken and Wor Wonton to go. I enjoyed both. The chicken had a little kick to it. I always order Wor Wonton Soup at any Chinese restaurant. It was good.I will say I had gotten takeout about 8 years ago and wasn't impressed, so maybe that was an off night. Glad I gave them another try.

Nothing special in my opinion. Food is okay; I prefer others. Food is served in to-go containers and they only offer plastic utensils. Not eco-friendly. Prices are good for the lunch menu, but you get what you pay for...

every time we are in phoenix we order from here. not only are they fast and efficient the food is always top notch. My husband is quite picky with his chinese food and loves everything we've ever gotten here. food is hot, flavorful great textures and sauces. the hours on yelp and google are confusing and they sort of looked closed when you drive by but just call and they will take your order right away

Best Chinese food spot in the Ahwatukee area. If you are a native Ahwatukeeians, circa 1991ish, you'll remember Abacus Inn that was on Elliott and 48th in the Safeway plaza; Great Wok is comprobale to them and they were the bomb.I usually get the sweet and sour chicken and the house lo mein. Big portions, feeds a family of 4 easily (two teenage kids), great taste, nice service and the prices are reasonable.

There is nothing fancy about this takeout restaurant, but the flavor of the food makes up for that! I had a craving for Chop Suey which can be a finicky dish if you don't have good flavor and fresh vegetables. Great Wok nailed it! I ordered the shrimp and got an easy 2 meals out of it. I wasn't thrilled with the chicken egg roll, but other than that it was a 10!

Picked up takeout. 4 decent dishes, really large portions. Quick service and friendly greeting.

Delicious food. I always try their lunch specials to try a new dish. Price is good. My favorite dish has to be the kung pao chicken. But a close second has to be the shrimp fried rice.
