This is the Best Chinese Food Place near SDSU area! I got the Combo C plate and I chose: Fries Rice, Orange Chicken, and Cream Cheese Wontons. Everything tasted so good and had so much flavor. And I loved that the food wasn't greasy either. I'm full, happy, and don't feel disgusting after eating either lol. But the best part of the meal was the Thai Iced Tea! It's hard to find a place that was really good Thai Tea. It wasn't too sweet, it was very smooth, and refreshing. The prices are very reasonable too. I won't be eating at Panda Express anymore. I'll pay 1 or 2 dollars more to eat here. This place is a solid 8/10

Ordered, the garlic shrimp, one fried fish and the garlic chicken wings through Grubhub. The chicken wings were okay, they were barely warm. The fried fish was perfect. Nice and crispy and hot and so was the fried garlic shrimp, but the shrimps were whole and they did not clean them. So it was kind of disgusting, but they did have good flavor.

They serve a lot of food, but the food isn't very good. The meat quality is not good, lots of breading in the orange chicken. The chow mein was good, but that was really it.

I went to Great Wall Express a few days ago. It was so good. I got a combo deal for $13. It comes with an entree and two sides with a drink. I feel like it would've cost way more anywhere else. They have a variety of drinks in their refrigerator. The menu is pretty simple and straight forward. I got lo mein, orange chicken, and cream cheese wontons. I'd come back for sure! The customer experience was really good too. They seem like nice people! They offer catering.

My favorite Chinese food take out spot in San Diego. Food is always fresh and the workers are all so kind. Love their chicken wings and hot and sour soup. Always so flavorful. They share a parking lot with Subway next door and a smoke shop on the other side, never had any issues with parking. Located off the 805 freeway when you exit University.

I don't know why there are so many negative reviews. Of course the food is not going to be the best quality nor authentic. This is CHEAP, UNHEALTHY Chinese food. It literally has 'Express' in its name, it's a clear give away! LOLFor what this is, the food is tasty, affordable with generous portions (sometimes a two side combo is enough for two meals for me). Sure, there's a lady that works there that can be cranky at times but she's really not that bad as some people make it. You get what you pay for and if you're in the mood for what I call "Americanized mall Chinese food," this is where it's at!P.S. I wouldn't really compare this to Panda Express as Panda Express seems to make it a point to be a healthier alternative to this type of food using fresh ingredients with what I assume are lower levels of sodium and fats.
