This is an amazing place to eat. We can eat so much closer to home. But this is worth the drive!!! The sliced bbq pork, the pork fried rice the won ton soup the orange beefThe garlic fried pork chop!!! The list goes on and on! And yes. I'm a retired fat person. We order tons of food because we have to taste everything but can never ever finish it!

My family and I have been wanting to try this place for a few months, now, but our schedule hasn't allowed us to make the trip. Today, it finally happened, and we were severely disappointed. It was very busy, which was fine, and a 25 minute wait isn't bad at all. We had never been to Dim Sum before and were highly entertained watching the carts go by filled with different foods. Because of the table size and large groups, I thought these were whole orders being brought out but I was incorrect. We had our number called and the woman told us "Go sit at the very last table". So we proceeded, a little confused, towards the last table- which was being bussed. We waited, standing, for a moment while our table was being cleaned and then sat down. Immediately after sitting, a lady with one of the carts came over and motioned to the plates on the cart; I tried to let her know that it was our first time and we were unsure about the process. She walked away. I decided to go up to the front just to ask about the process and I was lead back and told that I could order from the menu, choose the Dim Sum plates, or do a combo of both. We mentioned that we specifically came for the Dim Sum and he said that we just point to the plates and they give them to us. It seemed easy enough. Wrong again. When the next cart came around, I was trying to ask what things were and neither me, nor the woman I was asking, could understand each other. So we grabbed a couple things off of that cart to try and everything had shrimp in it. Which is something that I and my daughter avoid, and I had checked and confirmed on the menu previously to make sure that there were plenty of options for us without it.We ended up with a small series of dumplings, a couple different types of rice, egg rolls that were only shrimp inside, some fried popcorn chicken, and pork belly. Nothing that we had wanted, from looking at the online menu, came around on any of the carts and the things that we got were not appetizing, to us. Unfortunately the inability to communicate made the experience very difficult and the items we chose were not enjoyable to the point that we just stopped trying and left. We left still hungry and deeply disappointed in the experience. If you know how to do Dim Sum, this may be workable for you. If you're going for the first time, avoid this place at all costs.

First time at Great Wall and it was It was good. This was my first dim sum experience and first time dining at Great Wall and I absolutely loved it. The parking lot was busy, the restaurant was packed, but it was well worth the wait. On this visitvwe shared, Crab Puffs, Noodles Chow Fun, 2 Dim Sum Dishes, Peking Pork Chops, Rice, Walnut Shrimp, and Dumplings, Every single dish was authentic, fresh, well prepared, and delicious. Reminded me of the restaurants back home in New York. If you are seeking a wonderful Cantonese dim sum meal this is your stop, you won't be disappointed. The food is delicious, the service is great, the atmosphere is pleasant, and the prices are reasonable.

Don't let the decor / area fool you. This place has some of the best Chinese food we've had in the valley. Not saying they are the best, but it ranked highest for us. You won't get a menu to choose from but rather they bring carts filled with food and you select what you want and they write it down on the order card left at your table. What an experience we had trying new things, anxiously awaiting what was on the next cart and either passing up what we didn't care for or grabbing what we could since we knew it would be 5 or so minutes before they came around again. Loved the shrimp potstickers, shumai and pineapple custard buns. BBQ pork / beef were on my 1st things to try and wasn't disappointed.

We were on a golf trip in Arizona and decided to try some dim sum. Great Wall Cuisine was recommended as the best dim sum in Arizona so we decided to give it a try. This restaurant is located in an unassuming strip. Not very clean and service is okay. This may be the greatest dim sum for Arizona but our group of 9 would not give this establishment more than 2 stars! We went early when it opened at 11:00 am.The dim sum dishes taken off the cart were COLD and we wanted to return it (but we didn't want something done to our other orders...)! The meatball was absolutely horrible, like being served leftover meatball out of the refrigerator from the night before and serving it to your customer without heating it up? The shrimp ball (hai gow) and the sui mai wasn't much better.... Also COLD. Almost every single dish we took off the cart was cold.We also ordered two dishes that had to be cooked; Chow Fun and Chow Mein (gee mein). These two dishes would be the only food I'd rate higher because it was hot. I can't even say if the food tasted good because nothing taste good if you are expecting fresh cooked food but get cold, leftover food! Would not recommend this restaurant as the best dim sum unless you like cold dim sum, mediocre ambiance and nothing special service.

We've been here multiple times - our favorite dim sum restaurant in the area! The most recent time being on New Year's Eve. It was a really busy service, but they were able to move the line of customers outside pretty quickly. We got in within like 2025 minutes, even though we were about 30 parties behind the front.Once inside the food wasn't the fastest - however, this was a really busy service. They had the food carts as usual, so once the free cards came out, you have your food immediately. It was pretty well priced. The four dishes pictured cost 25.36Overall, Food is great! - Their shumai is on Fleek, juicy, soft, well cooked. We always had it with the spicy mustard. - The curd was really good. Outside was flaky, and a soft inside, goes really well with soy sauce or their spicy sayce- We have had their Cheung fun (like banh cuon with shrimp in it LOL) on previous visits - this is another staple for us. It was really good, soft, rice, paper, shrimp was soft and well cooked and their sauce. A classic dim sum staple!.

I came by on Sunday with my family and we arrived right after dim sum had concluded for the day. I didn't know there were specific times set for dim sum so I was bummed out when we were told we had just missed it. We decided to stay for their dinner menu and I'm so glad that we did. We had several different servers through out our meal and they were all very attentive and friendly. We ordered the following:Sweet and sour soupEgg roll, crab ragoon, and fried shrimp platterWhite riceFried riceMongolian beefKung pao shrimp - no peanutsChicken with lobster sauceChinese broccoli Green teaAll these entrees came with the dinner meal which in total was about $25 per person. The broccoli was not included and that itself was about $18.The food was delicious and this went for every single plate we ate. Everything was flavorful and tasted fresh. The proteins were there and they were not stingy about it. My favorite had to have been the chicken with lobster sauce, mmm. The Mongolian beef was also another good one as the meat was cooked well and it was easy to chew. The inside is big and has plenty of tables. They weren't too busy while we were there but when we left, larger groups started arriving. Our grand total was $116. (tip included) Service was great and our food was delicious! It was a pretty far voyage for me since I live in the east valley but it was so worth it. I will definitely be back soon for some dim sum.

Came for a group dinner with a bunch of Taiwanese leaders.First time here but I have heard great things about the Dim Sum.So how was dinner? We had multi course Chinese banquet with no expense spared, and it was very very good! Why only four stars, because of the location, it's about the worse place I've been to have good food. This place needs to be Scottsdale, LOL
