Great China House

I was in the mood for Chinese and I found this little gem. I called in and it didnt take long for them to get my order ready. they have sanitizer and line the chairs in a way to promote social distancing. The fried rice was really good. I asked for extra egg. The man said that he puts it directly on top so that you can see what you paid for. Great flavors and large portions. The egg foo yun is great as well. However, I wasnt a huge fan of the crab rangoon. I like more of a sweet crab rangoon and this wasnt the case. Overall this is a great place for chinese, affordable, quick and friendly.

Once upon a time some 20 years ago I relocated to Pilsen. There was a small Chinese place called ----. It had some issues with gangs and graffiti but the food was good. You could not really dine in. They have relocated to their current place and have a much nicer atmosphere to order food and eat and BYOB.I always order carry out and delivery. You can see the wife cook and her husband makes deliveries. I'll be damned I forget to ask their names. They work long hours and the food is simple and great.Now what I love from them are the soups, egg rolls, crab rangoon and esp the egg foo young (with thick gravy).The food is always piping hot and the crispy things stay crispy. The soups are freshly made and they use an array of fresh veggies as well. The prices are reasonable - and you get your $$$ worth and them some.They will take a special request like extra GARLIC or thick gravy on the EGG FOO YOUNG.Maybe next time I will break tradition and order something other than the above and I'll add to my review! Give them a try.....

The sweetest folx that took my order even though they were already closed cu u know u cant count on Yelp for accurate hours, menu, etc. The food had fresh veggies and tasty meat and hit the spot. Great bang for your buck. Delivery is only $3 if you don't wanna leave home (the struggle is real).

I have been coming to this place since forever. Even when they had their old location! They never fail me!

I've had this place a few times since it opened. The workers are very nice and crab rangoon is good, not great. Unfortunately, my beef fried rice tasted like it was cooked in a burnt pan. The prices are low but today I remembered why I don't come here anymore. Flavors aren't great.

Great food at really reasonable prices! I had the veggie fried rice with a mango smoothie! Yum! They used fresh vegetables and it arrived piping hot! I'll definitely be coming back for more yum. This house is pretty great.

There isn't much but the food is good! It's a great atmosphere and love eating here whenever I'm hungry for Chinese. The bathrooms are clean and so is the establishment!

Honestly they have good flavor in everything I have tried and there prices aren't too bad considering. They can give a generous amount. I love this place I come here pretty regularly!
