Grateful Spoon Gelato

Gelato! Gelato!! Gelato!!!There's nothing better than a cup of this cold, sweet treat after browsing around the La Grande Orange Grocery. My tongue was on the hunt for something peanut-buttery and rich, and wow did the peanut butter cookie gelato from Grateful Spoon satisfy. Yum!~ The gelato texture was perfect - thick and creamy - and the bits of cookie throughout gave a nice crunch and chew. The serving size was generous and, when paying with cash, this cup of gold was less than $5. You can bet I'll be back to try another scoop! Because they also make cakes, pies, cookies and other treats, expect some cool flavor mashups. I'd love to see a red velvet cake gelato!

The worst gelato. Just ordered two. Both tasted freezer burned, hard and flakey. Should have know by the effort it took her to scrape it together.

Went here with the wife after dinner. The staff was super friendly and nice. We tried some samples and enjoyed their recommendations. The gelato ice was tasty.

Absolutely delicious gelato! And what a great community focused business. Our spiritual center was so happy that Grateful Spoon was the featured dessert for our fundraiser.

I really enjoyed the raspberry and kiwi sorbets on my last visit. The kiwi reminded me of the kiwi gelato I got in Italy in college. The fruit flavors were punched up and were fresh, tart, and just sweet enough. All in all, the sorbets are super authentic and tasty.

Grateful Spoon Gelato is located in the LGO marketplace, and offers unique flavors of gelato. The gelato is very reasonably priced (the small size is about $3), creamy, and so flavorful! My favorite aspect is that you can enjoy your gelato while browsing through the store that's filled with cute, unique trinkets and gifts. Highly recommend stopping by Grateful Spoon for dessert, yum! :)
