My very squished burger. Tasted just like it looks!

I've driven by this place COUNTLESS times while visiting my mother in Lynden and always say, "Gee, I should stop in there." And then I'm by the cemetery (which is beside it) and don't feel like turning around and end up at McDonalds or something. But I finally decided to stop. I'm pretty glad I did.The menu is very simple, with burgers and cheeseburgers, and an option to double the patty and/or double the cheese. Which I admit was a little confusing at first: A double cheeseburger had two patties and one slice of cheese, but a double-double had two patties and two slices. Okay....Fries or rings are ordered on the side and I got myself an individual order. I cannot remember if other options were available, though I know they offered hot dogs and, I think, grilled cheese. The soda machine was behind the counter, so I ordered a large. I'm not sure if refills were complimentary, but my general policy is to not ask that, as I hate going up to a person and asking for refills when I'm at a fast food place. I just assume it's not free refills, or else they'd place it for self-service. And I dislike that greatly. Just me.The burger itself was great, though! It looked hand-formed, was grilled right there, and came out super hot. The fries were perfect, crispy and not burned and very enjoyable. The burger was somewhat smallish for it's $4.50 price tag, but honestly, it was pretty good and I didn't feel like I got cheated out of anything.I suggested my mother check this place out, as she is a burger fanatic. So I guess I liked it pretty well.

The Grant's from Ferndale is now in Lynden. Straight forward menu with cheap (and very tasty) in the same manner as the Dick's chain in Seattle. Nothing beats a deluxe and a shake on a nice day.

Had lunch there for the 1st time. Overall, it was fine. Probably won't go back, because they specialize in burgers and I've had much better burgers. Not that it was bad, it was good. But if you're going to specialize, then specialize. There are other options for other lunches, and better burgers...

Decent food but the lazy manager doesn't treat the employees very well. I'd skip the Lynden store.

The fish and chips are VERY good. The hamburger, as far as I'm concerned, was great as were the fries. The orders are not so huge you are stuffed, but full. Milk shakes are amazing. The prices are really very good.

Good service - Servers were friendly and prompt, did not try to upsell, which we appreciate.Burgers - while well dressed, but patties were very thin for the price. Fries and onion rings were average.Good milkshakes. There are better places, and definitely worse.

Burger and fries were average. Accidentally left my wallet there, came back to get it and it was $30 lighter. Staff not so great.

First thing I noticed when I walked in was that absolutely none of the workers were wearing masks. Not even the cook. I wouldn't gotten food but due to this I felt grossed out and wanted to leave. You may not feel sick but in these times if you are a food worker wearing a mask is essential. They had a sign that said to practice social distancing, which is ironic because they don't even feel the need to wear a mask when making food. Disgusting.

First of all ,The menu prices online are different (lower) than what is on the menu at the Ferndale location. Not for every item , but the small fries and rings, soda, and also the big bun. They need to update their menu prices online ! We got the double cheese dlx ,fries and rings and a strawberry shake. Burger was too saucy and it made the lettuce limp and soggy. Fries were cold and chewy and rings did not seem like the were made of real onions. Strawberry shake had real strawberries in it . It was the only good thing. Won't go back.

I bound them to have essentially the same menu as In N Out in Los Angeles and I would say 97% as good. The Double Double was slightly more moist than In N Out which is good thing. The Fries were also quite good. The service was quick and friendly. For a burger stand for a fast lunch with little expectation for atmosphere they fit the need well I was impressed by how clean the restroom was as well and well sized for handicapped accessibility. I gave them five stars not for being a fine dining experience or for the highest grade food but because they do what they are doing very competently.
