Granny's Kitchen

Walking in was strange, there are no directions or signs once you pull in from Hwy 70/Lebanon Rd and the building you see looks to be only a salon. The restaurant is NOT one of these two doors on the main building. Keep pulling all the way around the back of the lot and Granny's is a separate spot on the backside to the far LEFT. You can't see this from the road or initially when pulling into the parking lot. The walk into the restaurant is also odd, as it's a small walkway between the two buildings to get in.Once we made our way in the folks were super nice, and the food was very good. The only thing I could think the whole time I was eating was: this is what I think of when your family's done with the first round of Thanksgiving dinner and then you head back an hour later for your first plate of leftovers. Yeah, the plate'll be reheated, but at about 4pm when you are hankerin for that second plate do you ever care that you have to throw some stuff in the microwave for a minute? No you do not.I will say, the restaurant needs some MUSIC! The place was dead quiet the whole time we were there, except for our own chewing.Overall, pretty good spot and good eats. We'll likely go back if we're in the mood for a change-of-pace meal here and there.

The service was coolio, but the food was terrible, I was expecting so super Soul Food!

We ate at Granny's Kitchen yesterday, Erin was very nice here sweet daughter. The food was delicious. It was homemade and yummy. If you get a chance, go by and get something great to eat. We'll try to go back on a Friday and get Catfish. I bet its great too.

Walking in I was feeling hopeful. It has cute decor, but then we were pretty disappointed after that. Food is served out of crock pots, not freshly fried or heated, paper plates, veggies were not fresh but seemed to be from a can, the fried fish was bad quality. Not to mention it was really hard to find. This was a while ago, so maybe things have changed. I write more about my suggestions for the owners in my blog post, link is below. Don't miss the opportunity to eat at this little hidden gem! Granny taught two generations to cook and it paid off. Everything we had was scrumptious. Even my picky eater was asking for more. Fried chicken was a major hit and all the vegetables were delicious. Support local businesses so they can continue providing their passion to the community!

Delicious food and delightful staff. We will definitely be back. The catfish and smothered chicken were great.

I enjoy most of their food. Nothing is really exceptional but most of it is good. Service is great and they are friendly people.

The best meat and 3 restaurant. If you want a delicious meat and 3 check them out! Staff are very friendly. Good all fresh nothing out of cans. Granny taught her children and grandchildren how to cook a GREAT home-cooked meal.

Good home cooking, I had chicken and dressing, mashed potatoes, corn. My wife had vegetable plate with pinto beans, mashed potatoes, fried okra, cabbage. Food was hot and fresh, portions are large. Excellent hot water cornbread. Hidden gem for sure. If you like a meat and three you'll love this place!

Food was, well, I was hungry.Should had went home and made a peanut and jelly sandwich. Food served from a crook pot. That tells me that food was cooked at HOME. No room to sit, to enjoy your meal. Food, cost was to high. That was not Grandma's cooking, I need to give Grandmama some cooking lessons. Will not be back.
