Grande Jake's Fresh Mexican Grill

We came here on a Tuesday for Taco Tuesday! All tacos were $1 off normal price. We got the steak (10/10), chicken (7/10), shrimp (6/10), & al pastor (8/10). Also we got the burrito mas grande which was "fantastic". I'd come back! Service was great!

Grande Jakes came highly recommended and I'm so glad I finally went. The service was great, the staff was very attentive and helpful. The ambiance was also really nice, they played a good mix of music. And lastly, the food and drinks were so great! They have a salsa bar with so many delicious salsas, it's hard not to over do it with the chips and salsas. I highly recommend Grande Jakes.

Though I've never dined in at Grande Jake's, I've had carryout many times before so I've been able to try all the main items on their menu. The prices are slightly on the high side for a Mexican resturants, however they're always running some type of coupon or deal to bring the price in line with other nearby options.One of the great things about ordering from here is that you'll never have to worry about being hungry after your meal. There is only one portion size here, and that is enormous. There's plenty of meat choices to choose from like pastor, carnitas, skirt steak, ground beef, etc. The great part about this is that you can customize your meals in many different ways to fulfill your cravings. The meat provided comes in generous portions, similar to El Famous Burrito.Though the meat is slightly overcooked at times, I appreciate the effort put into crisping it up to give an enjoyable texture. I find the amount of salt and spices in the meat to be about right, providing a nice bold flavor without being overwhelming. I'm also very pleased with the generous amount of cheese, sour cream, and guacamole that the dishes are topped with.Overall, Grande Jakes is a solid choice for both traditional and Americanized Mexican food. You're paying a little more to dine here, but also getting better ingredients and cooking technique.

This place has gone done hill worst burrito can't even fold a burrito right. Worst I've ever had and salsa taste like marinara sauce

Ignore the negative reviews and listen up.I am deeeeeep into the taco world..I have a spreadsheet of all the taco places I've tried near me (over 30) with ratings for quality/quantity/spice and an excel formula to calculate an overall score.Grande Jakes is fire. The steak tacos are amazing. The portions are huge!!! Do not get more than two tacos unless you are on 100mg of THC.The salsas are so good. They are very garlicky which I love. I only have one criticism; I like when taco shells are fried a bit and they don't seem to do that here. Minor complaint/personal preference. still hot fire.Don't walk, run to your phone and order grande Jakes.

I'm a neighboring business in same plaza and Grande Jakes is my go too place for lunch! Fast service and food is always great! Love to salsa bar! Many choices to sample! Prices reasonable!!

Had a fantastic meal and margaritas on a weeknight. Jake (the owner) was very welcoming and conversational. Found out that they make all of their salsas in house! Figures because they were delicious. Great food, margaritas and service!

not sure if they accidentally spilled all their salt in our order but wow.. couldn't really tell how the food was because we couldn't get past how salty everything was. the only thing that tasted normal were the tortilla chips. worse part was they give big portions so it was a struggle finishing all that food. service was quick and even tho we carried out, ambiance seemed on par for a mom and pop shop. still debating if we should try it out again (leaning towards no).

First of all I always order Cheese enchiladas with mole sauce., some places are stingy with their mole, others are quite generous. I ordered theirs and they weren't made with Mexican cheese but salty American Cheese. the cheese was so overwhelming with salt you couldn't taste the mole! it was not good and I didn't eat it. What Mexican Restaurant uses American cheese instead of the Mexican varieties? I've eaten in plenty and this is the first and only time. Crossing them off my list of places

Okay! I was so skeptical of this place at first and when I finally came in to try I was BLOWN AWAY by the quality! The best grilled skirt steak tacos! Flavor is amazing! Meat is juicy and fresh! TRY IT!!!! You will not be disappointed:)
