We came for the breakfast but there was an issue in the kitchen. We ended up getting the soulfood special they run on Sundays. The food was delicious. My mom said this may be her new breakfast spot.

Walked over in hopes of grabbing a late breakfast/brunch while getting some work done. Was given a breakfast menu, which I perused in anticipation for 10 minutes before being told they were no longer serving lunch. Also, the AC is out so I'm melting at the counter.Ok. The server slides over the lunch menu. I order the fried chicken special. Greens, mac 'n cheese, bird fried hard--all that. And I wait.And wait.As I'm waiting, the server asks me if ordered meatloaf. Then she asks if I ordered fish. Eventually she returns with my correct order and when I see it, boooooy.I've included a photo for reference. I received a lightly fried chicken fillet and while the sides were proportionate (I only put a portion of them on the plate) this was not worth the $33.05 I was charged. Oh, and that muffin? Dry and tasteless.Now, I understand that every business has its off days and that there are things beyond their control (like the lack of AC) but this entire experience has left a less than pleasant taste in my mouth. Not sure I'll be returning.
