Sushi was pretty tasty. The pho was ok, the broth was not bad. But the bubble tea and bahn mi was not good. Should maybe not have so many types of food and focus on a couple things that are good! The servers were welcoming and the interior was simple and clean.

Presentation and price were reasonable but the pho we ordered had absolutely very little flavor. And I'm not sure I'm a fan of ride noodles being cut to 1 inch lengths before it's served. Very little protein despite the fact that there two kinds in there. Fried Siomai was basically like something from a boxed Trader Joe's product and then fried to make it look fancy...tasted like Siomai but nothing special.

I'm not sure I ordered the right thing from their menu to really be judging anything but they had so many varying options it was kinda overwhelming. Sushi and Japanese rice bowls, but also pho and Vietnamese vermicelli bowls? i wanted to attempt to pick a healthy option where I could save a portion to eat another day so I got the tofu vermicelli bowl. The tofu was kinda bland, and the bowl also had veggies and peanuts. The only taste profile was basically the sauce. My friend got a sushi and liked it through.

I absolutely love their banh mi's they make it different. This is a hot spot especially since it is near many schools around so it could be filled. The service is always nice.

Came with friends and we all got pho and a thai milk tea. The food was really yummy and just what we needed on a chilly day! Service was super friendly and fast. There are tables inside and we saw peoplecoming in to grab takeout orders as well. It was cute inside. Would come here again soon!

This is just for the beef pho w/ beef meatball and mushrooms that I tried. While the amount of food was a good amount for the price 12.95 + tax&tip but the broth flavor could be improved. The broth was sweet which I liked but there wasn't enough aroma from the usual pho spices. I wish there was a better taste in that aspect. I asked for boiled beansprouts which they gladly complied. I understand that mushrooms are probably for the vegetarians but it didn't add much to the pho so I would suggest to get a different meal option if you can. Beef meatballs are standard. I'm glad I got to try this new restaurant but if I were to come back, I would probably not get pho, my friend got the beef stew ramen that she demolished, she did end up having to season it more with soy sauce and pepper. It's nice that they have additional seasonings for people to customize a bit.

SERVICE: immediately met by friendly hellos and warm greetings. very nice throughout the whole ordering process and extremely helpful. FOOD: to start i ordered a taro boba tea and my boyfriend ordered a wintermelon tea with rainbow jelly. both drinks were really good, and the rainbow jelly was super tasty. the taro boba always slaps. i ordered a chicken pho with mushrooms and tofu; the broth was good and super flavorful. my partner got tonkotsu ramen, he said the broth was very savory, the pork was fatty and delicious, and the noodles were perfectly cooked. he wanted it a little spicier so he added chili oil to the broth which he said made it amazing!AMBIANCE: its a very cozy atmosphere and is a perfect place for students to come and grab a quick bite. PRICE: reasonably priced for seattle food. LOCATION: amazing location for seattleu students, its on the corner of a busy street with a decent amount of foot traffic and is easy to get to. GENERAL OPNION: we love this place, and we have been going to this place since 2022, the food has always been superb and the boba is always amazing. its a go to spot that we recommend to everyone who visits the area.

The food relative to cost was really good in this area so bonus points for value. We had the vegetarian pho and the beef pho. My partner liked his beef pho quite a bit. I liked my broth and veggies/tofu, but we both agreed there's too many noodles in it. The drinks were really good (classic boba and Thai tea). We were impressed at the quality of the sushi too - we split a spider roll. Overall there were lots of vegetarian options on the menu too. Overall, we felt the food was much better than we would have anticipated for the overall ambiance (seems much more like a grab and go place and the dine in was pretty dead when we arrived). I can see why they keep it more relaxed and casual though being so close to Seattle U. The service was good and friendly. You order at the front and they bring it out. I'd definitely go back for the drinks and to try their bahn mis too.

I've visited Grain House multiple times over the past year and every time it's been a great cafe for boba, food, and getting work done. Highly recommend their fruit teas, the soft shell crab salad, and the orgasm roll. They have outlets which is a nice plus! They have great service as well.
