Grain Artisan Bakery

On the lookout for a bakery that covers pretty much all kinds of allergies, but doesn't compromise taste along the way? Well look no further! Grain Artisan Bakery in the beautiful historic downtown area of Snohomish has you covered! One Saturday morning, I purchased quite a few baked goods from them ranging from dairy free, gluten free, sugar free, and a mix of all three. My friends and I can confirm they were all absolutely delicious! The cinnamon blueberry cake was a big hit at our get together and I am so thankful for this bakery's existence because thanks to them my best friend (allergic to dairy) can enjoy his cake without having to worry about any sort of allergic reaction! I will definitely make a trip to Snohomish again to support this wonderful business in the near future

Pretty good! The magenta color of the raspberry chocolate cake is mesmerizing. I think I've seen their stand at the farmers market before because I remember the beautiful cake colors. They go heavy on the frosting like I think all cakes should be frosted and it was really good. The bread is fluffy, had good chocolate flavor but it's a bit on the basic side. I'd definitely love to try more of their cakes, maybe a few cupcakes next time!

Grain has the best desserts/food ever! Lauren knows how to cook. Her brownies are some of my favorite , the frosting ON EVERYTHING she makes is incredible. How she manages to make things GF V DF is insane because you'd NEVER KNOW. My second favorite on the menu is her savory scones, but then there's also the galettes... I mean you can't go wrong with anything!! I love that the menu rotates. I've been following her since she was just a cupcake business and even then it was bomb. The storefront is so beautiful and if you haven't checked this amazing spot out you should. It's welcoming and Lauren is one of the nicest people you'll ever meet.

If you're lucky enough to score one of their GF sourdough loafs, consider yourself lucky. I promise you, you'd never know the difference. The salted caramel cupcakes are to die for. Scones are incredible, but outside of the sourdough, the pot pies are heavenly. Yes pricy but it's worth it, how on earth they put together a GF, DF, and EF pot pie and have it taste like the real deal, is beyond me. True magic what this bakery does

Finally an allergy friendly bakery! They have a variety of goods that change out daily. It's one of the only bakeries that sells allergy friendly cake by the slice. The cake was a bit dense probably due to being gluten and dairy free but it was super tasty. Highly recommend!

A must have for me when I'm in the area. Since I've had to go gluten free, I've been to a lot of GF bakeries and this has been the most memorably delicious! Everything I've gotten there is SO good. I have also seen that they do classes that teach you the ins/outs of GF baking and I'd love to do that sometime in the near future :)

Our first visit to Snohomish! We walked into the beautiful little boutique bakery. It was nice and quiet when we walked in, with cute merch to boot! Once a line grew, as we struggled to choose our pastries, even they were kind and patient with us. We picked out a cardamom roll (like a cinnamon roll but with cardamom and sprinkle of pistachios!!) and an excellent, not-too-sweet tiramisu, perfect to compliment anything else sweeter which we did with the cardamom roll. The flour they is incredible and makes me want to start baking using ancient grain!With a wide variety of healthier than your average bakery options to choose from, you'll be wowed, especially if you are looking for a fresh flavor!Thank you for having us Grain Artisan!

Took a walk with the wifey in downtown Snohomish. Visited this great bakery. I had chai tea latte (delicious) and a bacon scone. It was a very pretty girl! Glossy, sticky, savory, slightly bitter/burnt but in a good way. Went perfect with my sweet drink.Place was tiny with only two tables inside. Prices were ok for our two coffees and scones. They had these pot pies for sale that could feed one large person or two small people for 35 bucks which I thought was insanely expensive for a pot pie.. I'll be back to explore some of their other savory offerings tho

Amazing experience with this bakery! Congratulations on getting certified gluten free. I'm from California and was visiting my boyfriend for my birthday and he wanted to get me a cake. I get really sick whenever I eat gluten, so my boyfriend was able to find this bakery to make my cake for me. They apparently went down the list of allergens for me even though my boyfriend didn't really know how much dairy I could tolerate, but they asked him enough questions to get the perfect thing for me! The cake was DELICIOUS! And when we went to pick it up, we got a few bakery items as well. Everything we got was delicious. If you're celiac, I definitely recommend this bakery and think you should support it.

They sell Velton's coffee here! Love that - he's the best local coffee roaster and it can be hard to find shops that purchase his beans. Ordered a cappuccino and a chocolate chip cookie, very satisfied. The cappuccino needs more foam, but honestly no coffee shop ever makes it correctly. Blown away by the gf pastry, and their case was well stocked for a Saturday afternoon!
