Gracie's is such a neat and unique vibe in Phoenix. I found it to be very welcoming bar and the staff to be very attentive and friendly. You cannot beat the prices of the food. There can be a bit of a wait if it's more crowded, but again the prices here are stellar so not too much to complain about. There is some parking available, but there is a lot about a quarter mile away you can also walk to if the lots next to Gracie's are full. Great place for friends or for a date!

DJ Thursday night played The Specials to Fleetwood Mac. Big patio in the back with lots of seating. Bar has seating too. They have food as well. A dive bar with punk flair. Their parking lot is South of Gracie's, only 10 spots or so, best bet is to come early to snag a spot (like I did) or park in the neighborhood around it using the street parking available."Chopped Cheese" for $9 was good. Imagine a diced hamburger.

I love this place. It is a very peaceful place, full of great vibes. I recommend visiting this spot. It's my getaway from the normal bar vibe. More laid back and comfy. Nice to visit on cooler nights to enjoy the outside

This is a dive bar with cheap drinks. What more can you ask of it? This isn't the place to go if you're looking for something fancy or upscale, but they have a decent food menu and can do any basic cocktail. What makes it a five star review for me is the amount of events they'll host, keeping things fun and interesting. I've enjoyed local music and a Rocky Horror screening here (almost as much as I enjoy their killer happy hour deals). They have an indoor and outdoor space, ridiculously graffitied bathrooms, and a photo booth to complement the grungy vibe.

Chopped cheese is a perfect sandwich, no notes. I think about it at least twice a week now. Best part is the prices for food and drink are incredibly reasonable. Hard to find these days.

Welcoming happy hour! Our server at the bar was the best server I've ever had in Phoenix. My friend and I stopped by right when they opened and service was spot-on. There were already people in the building and the server was ready to serve food and drinks right off the bat. FYI the fried pickles were the best we ever had. They were slightly spicy and perfectly crisp. Usually fried pickles are soggy, but these were perfect! We were never left wondering where our bartender was, and he was attentive and ready to keep up with everyone's needs. I wish I got his name but this was Saturday at 4 pm and he was getting warmed up: If you're ever in Phoenix and looking for a dive bar with great dive bar ambience, Gracie's is the place!

This is THE neighborhood bar of central Phoenix. Roosevelt Row "Arts" District is still fun, but that artsy vibe was obliterated when the actual creators and service workers were priced out. They moved west of central into Grand Ave, and it's culminated with 7th - 15th avenue becoming the last stand for sincere locavore vibes. Order plenty of Fernet Branca--it's on draft! Order the cheese curds--it is literally the best bar food in all of PhoenixCatch a live show. Dance to the DJ, or at least put something on the jukebox. Bring your friends. Take photos in the vintage booth, or the bathrooms full of gratuitous graffiti. Play the crane game and win a plush. Give your prize to someone you care about and tell them that nothing good seems to last, but you'll cherish it while it does. This is a spot for celebration, for after-work kvetching, for dates, for kicking back when you don't know what else to do. It's the best.
