Gorman Winery

I had not heard of this winery until last July when we had one of their offerings at a anniversary dinner, and it was outstanding. When I learned the winery is nearly in my backyard I wanted to visit and try more of their varieties. This is one of two tasting rooms Gorman has in the Woodinville area and it's in a (the?) production facility which I tend to prefer. We were met by a smiling and happy host and seated immediately. We tried their wine flight which included reds and whites, and they were all quite good. Wine is very subjective to the taster, but these are definitely trending towards my palate. The service and ambience of the tasting room is comfortable, and cool being that the proprietor apparently is in the rock 'n' roll, and has some great guitars in the room. You can look straight into the production facility from part of the tasting room and it has an authentic feel. This is definitely worth getting out of the Hollywood District in Woodinville to try when you are looking for a place to sample some great Washington wines.

Visited the new space in Maltby for the first time! Of course anyone whom has had Chris Gorman wines knows they are amazing so for me to say anything at all it would be to go with, you won't be disappointed in the least. I walked away with"the devil you know". And a delightful time enjoying the other wines in a lovely space.

I wasn't sure what to expect from Washington wines since I only drink California wines since I live here. Went tasting on Sunday and I loved the blend from Gormon, The Devil You Don't Know 2019. Ended up bringing 2 bottles home. Great tasting room with rock and roll memorabilia and good wine. I recommend trying it.

Where else can you play pinball and taste some WA wine?! In an industry that can get buried deep in pretentiousness, Gorman has a lighthearted spirit complete with autographed guitars, rock magazines, and free pinball to complement a solid lineup of WA whites and reds that were made for a rockstar! What are you waiting for?

This place was a pleasant surprise! Novelty Hill suggested them and so glad they did! After the tasting, of which all were delicious , we decided on a glass each. I enjoyed Devil you Know and Pixie while my friend like Evil Twin. We were able to enjoy our glasses on the patio and order from the Italian eatery. We tried the truffle fries...I've never had good fries until this day! Hope you take the time and enjoy!

Beautiful place. It was pretty busy when I walked in so we just ordered a glass and sat outside on the patio in the sun. We ordered food from the restaurant right next door and they walked it over to our table right outside of Gormans. The staff was friendly and the winery was open and inviting.

Loved the the rock n roll vibe but more so loved "the Devil you don't know" and "the Bully."

Some of the finest wines you'll find in Washington, at a new tasting room in Maltby. My review for their other tasting room in Hollywood Hills mentioned how great their "The Bully" cabernet is (along with almost every other red), but you haven't had a chardonnay until you've tried their Ashan Cellars Conner Lee Chardonnay. Buttery smooth and balanced fruit flavors. Yeah it's expensive but you'll never forget it!Thank you to the staff when we visited last weekend. She put up with our group's indecision and flip flopping, and brought everything out with a smile. Highly recommend this stop if you're in the area!

You can't go wrong drinking the Bully, no matter what year. Fantastic wine and setting!
