I don't live in an area with much food variety and wings and seafood can get monotonous so I was happy to see this food truck parked in my area a few times per week. I passed by a few times before I actually stopped and I'm glad I did. First, the staff is super friendly. I'm not sure if they're related or not but they have this warm and welcoming disposition about them. Second, the food is GOOD. I've tried several dishes and you can't really go wrong:Turkey leg: My absolute favorite! This is probably the juiciest turkey leg I ever had. Turkey legs tend to be dry but their turkey legs are consistently moist. I will say maybe once out of 5 times I get them, they are a little salty but that's not the norm.Turkey wings: Super flavorful and tender.Lamb chops: Perfectly cooked, tender and well-seasonedMac and cheese: Seasoned and cheesy how I like itSweet potato souffle: I love the flavor. Sometimes, there's too many nuts for meWings: Cooked well and seasoned well. The lemon pepper flavor can be strong if you're not a huge fan of acidityBurger: This was okay. The flavor was decent but the burger was over cookedOverall, this is one of my favorite places to grab food!

It's an early Saturday afternoon after Thanksgiving and we've just finished a grocery run. We're leaving the shopping center. Bye bye Kroger. We drove past the wing and pizza places. I decided to cut through the Chevron Food Mart parking lot and, oh look... There's a food truck. You can't just drive by a food truck and not check it out. Especially a nice looking one. It's big."Is it barbeque?""It's barbeque and seafood. Fried Salmon's on the menu?""Yup, sure looks like it. Oof, they've got a $15 burger. Sounds stiff but, if it's good, it could be worth it.""Are we doing this?""Yeah sure."We opted for the old reliables. Rib tips. Green beans. Fried okra. $18. The service was so nice, and convincing, that we got a $5 lemonade too.Once we got back in the car we cracked our meal open. There was a 15 minute drive ahead of us to get home and many foods can turn in flavour once they start to cool. We weren't taking any chances. This was pretty food. It looked great. The Rib Tips were sauced. The Green Beans were Italian, flat, light green kind and they were glistening. The Fried Okra were golden brown with flecks of yellow and bits of green show where the breading wasn't completely enveloping the chunks. The lemonade was an atomic, yellow green that gave the impression of a lemon drink rather than actual lemon juice. Our initial taste experiences were varied. The lemonade was fine and definitely had that sweet, drink flavour. The okra was sadly the most disappointing. The fried breading wasn't great with a bitterish... I don't know... sourness?! Great texture but iffy taste. The green beans were definitely good with nice seasoning. I also liked how tender but firm they were. Perfectly cooked. And then, there was the bbq. I only had a small piece but, BOOM(!), instant flavour explosion and an amazing tenderness. I hoped it would be just as good once we got home and it'd cooled a bit more. Our drive home was eager, energetic and legal. Left and right turn signals were used. Reasonable distances between cars were maintained. Speed limits were respected... mostly.Having arrived at home I found myself starving from the aroma in the car.The green beans maintained their overall integrity and I happily downed them with my meal. The okra turned out to be a mixed bag in the end. I popped a couple in my mouth and found the drop in temperature had only made them worse, like much, much worse. BUT, then I peeled the breading off and BAM, delicious okra. I mean really good okra. Not, 'hey you should buy this and remove the breading' good, but still, it was good okra with a nice firmness too. I finished the green beans and happily snacked on the de-breaded okra for the rest of the afternoon. And we're back to the actual BBQ Rib Tips and I have to say...Goodness gracious me oh my! That's good barbeque!!!This is some of the best BBQ I've ever tasted and as it cooled the flavours coalesced even further. The flavour blend is truly unique and makes this meat stand out. It tasted so good that I also had to give it a visual inspection.I scraped away the delicious and generous layer of BBQ sauce and observed where the meat was cut. I don't know how they season their meat but you can see a marbling in the meat from seasoning that I can only imagine came from long term marinating or injection. The flavours of the meat are also different from the BBQ sauce so they are both uniquely delicious. You've got to try this people. Prove me wrong! So ends this tale of culinary adventure which took days to type because the Yelp app can get fussy (I'm not throwing shade but... yeah, I am). In closing, I'll say the BBQ meat portion was quite generous so we were able to come back to it for dinner and some breakfast for me too (it's really good cold from the fridge too). And finally...BRAVO. BRAVO. BRA-VO!We shall return.

Terrible.....absolutely terrible. I ride by this food truck every weekend and I decided to stop last weekend. I ordered the rib dinner with baked beans and mac and cheese. I bit into the rib and it has NO flavor at all. It had this weird ginger aftertaste. I tried to put the sauce on the ribs thinking it would help give it flavor and it was still bad. The baked beans were soupy and horrible. The only decent thing was the mac.and cheese. I ended up throwing the food away. Grilling is not for everyone! I wish them well but I won't be back!

My husband happened upon this spot, so we stopped to try it out. I'm the daughter of a GrillMaster, so I'm kinda picky about my BBQ. Most places I've tried out here didn't hit 100, but I refuse to give up. I couldn't smell this joint when we pulled up, so I was somewhat hesitant. But I was hungrier than hesitant so...Johnny said it best: "My, My, My, My, My, My, My..."!!! We ordered the Rib Tips and Brisket plates with mac, okra, sweet potato souffle and green beans. While we waited, my son and I sipped on a lemonade. Two sips in, we ordered another lemonade. Even though it was very "CountryTime"ish, something about it made it so damn refreshing! As we sipped, the couple who got their food just before us came back up to the window and ordered more. I'm like, "that good, huh? Ok..." I brought our plates back to the car and we proceeded to stuff our faces (we had other errands to run, so soonest was best). My husband tried a bit of both meats and immediately went back up to the window to order seconds! He gave Mr. Mike the best compliment he could muster. It went something like this:"I'm giving you the worst review ever. Absolutely terrible! I just had my back molar extracted and your meat was so tender, I had no trouble chewing it! What are you trying to do to me?" (In our house, the better the food, the worse the review. That's my Daddy's fault.)The meats were outstanding! The sauce wasn't too sweet or too vinegary. The mac was perfect. The sweet potatoes were so good, my son begged me to replicate them, then said mine didn't measure up... whatev. The okra, however, left a lot to be desired. We got the same meats on the second plates, but beans and potato salad. Tasted like my Family Reunion food!! Goodness Gracious!!!We. Will. Be. Back. Our backs are too big to be back often, but we will certainly be BACK! Maybe we'll get seafood this time to justify...

5he smoked salmon was good and the sweet potato souffle, blonde chocolate chip and lemon pound cake was great. I was very disappointed in the dressing. I asked if it was cornbread dressing and they said yes but it tastes like that box stuffing. No Bueno. The rice was good as well. I will try them again because this was my 2nd visit. The 1st visit everything was good. Maybe it was a rough day. No one is perfect.
