Slinging fried Dough in White Center since 2018 Good Day Donuts is less heralded than the likes of Top Pot or Mighty O, a fact perhaps attributable to smaller-than-average specimens and customer service that seems more interested in what's happening on Twitter or TikTok.Open Wednesday through Sunday from 8am until 2pm, Erik Jackson's past as a Chef displayed by Sandwiches plus the occasional Dinner Pop-Up, it was for $2 a piece that Donuts were packed by a man who spoke no more than six words after groggily emerging from the back.Inexpensive even considering the portions, a $4 "large" Fritter with almost no Fruit the exception, Old Fashioned fans will be pleased by Good Day's glazed cogwheel with subtle sourness though the "Buttermilk Hunk" would benefit from topping while warm to allow for better penetration.Handmade daily, raised Rings and Bars with good elasticity constituting most of the collection, Maple Icing comes across surprisingly natural while "Salted Glaze" and Biscoff each offer something a little different from the usual.

Best donuts in West Seattle. Not the best vibe next to the pot shop but I guess that probably helps with business?

I was lured in by Good Day's recent pop-up event featuring muffulettas, with bread directly imported from New Orleans. Since I was making the trip, I also got their boiled peanuts and a box of my favorite vegan donuts! I ordered online to skip the line and was so glad I did because I was guaranteed the number of vegan donuts I wanted (they always sell out so early!), and could sleep in and go late. I will always do this from now on! Tip: Their donuts freeze really well (in tupperware) and you just have to take them out and let them come to room temperature before eating.

Apple Fritter 3/5 overall.Crispness 4/5. Flavor blend 3/5. Dough 4/5. Fruit volume 3/5. Size and Value 1/5.Pretty good fritter overall but for $4 it is one of the most expensive fritters I have ever had, and does not bring anything special with it's price tag honestly. They're hours are 8am-2pm which is not ideal hours for a donut shop.Donut shop overall 2.7/5Hours 2/5. Selection 3/5. Service 3/5.

Best donuts in Seattle. And, surprisingly, maybe best breakfast sandwich too. The people who work here are also very nice.

Good Day Donuts is located in White Center. They specialize in donuts, but they also offer breakfast and lunch sandwiches. During covid they are open for takeout, but you can't dine in right now.We went there on a Saturday around 9 AM and luckily there was only one person in front of us. Sometimes there is a really long line that goes out the door. They mostly serve traditional types of donuts, so nothing too crazy. They do offer several vegan donuts, in case you are into that.We chose an assortment of six donuts: apple fritter, maple bar, cinnamon twist, chocolate glazed filled with cream, glazed filled with raspberry, and glazed filled with lemon.I thought the donuts were good, but I didn't like the fact that some donuts count as two. Therefore our six donuts cost almost as much as twelve.

Online ordering worked like a charm. The automated reply has the wrong day but they make it abundantly clear on the message and website that it's wrong. There was lot parking which is rare for Seattle. I walked right in on a Sunday and asked for my box of donuts and walked right out - could not be easier. We ordered a dozen vegan donuts - which ended up being 11 big donuts and a bunch of delicious munchkin style donuts. The Apple Fritter was amazing - had a great density and taste and I appreciated that they made it a normal size and not a huge size. The other raised donuts were delicious too. Sort of like a Krispy Kreme on the airy side but with a bit more density and they tasted good not hot. The frosting was a bit melty - in a good way. I was most surprised by the Sea Salt Maple - I love a maple and love a salted caramel but have never had a salted maple. Now I want one again!

Best vegan donuts evverrr, much better than other vegan donut spots in Seattle, but they are pretty pricey for me. For 4 jelly-filled donuts (not vegan) and 8 vegan donuts, glazed and banana fritters, total cost was $32. The 8 vegan donuts counted as a dozen, which I'm assuming the fritters counted as 3 donuts each, I'm honestly confused about that. But overall, donuts are super good, melt in your mouth perfection, and the staff are super sweet Tip for vegans, there's only a small vegan selection so going early in the morning at opening time or ordering online will guarantee options and donuts. Def making this a go-to spot once a month for a vegan treat

Fair price for donuts.Nothing super special or unique but donuts tasted good and fresh. Soft donuts and nothing overly sweet. Local business so always love to support. Love that they support the local food bank. Sufficient variety of donuts to keep us happy and coming back.We like the pink sprinkles and maple bars
