This was our worst experience on our mini vacation in Seattle. I was surprised at all the reviews of "friendly service" because that is the opposite of what we got. We stopped by while we had an hour to spare before a walking tour and this bar was nearby. We ordered 2 sodas and a mushroom flatbread pizza. There was only one person sitting at the bar and one table of four, so I figured our order would be quick and easy. The bartender, who also served as the cashier, took my order. I asked if I could use a large bill. It was about 4pm in the afternoon which I know is early for a bar but he took the cash. I would have rather he refused and made me pay card because afterwards, he was so gruff it made us feel unwelcome. We waited patiently for 40 minutes for our flatbread pizza while slowly sipping our sodas. I could see the people at the kitchen were moving around but nothing was coming out. We only had about 10 minutes to get to our location and I was confused why we hadn't received our order. By this time, the bar had picked up with more people, but still, not one thing had come out of the kitchen. My husband asked the bartender if our pizza was on the way and he begrudgingly responded, "I don't know. I have no control over the kitchen" and continued making drinks. By this time, we were already late so we headed out the door. I didn't even want to ask for a refund because I just didn't want the bartender's energy anymore. I don't want to go this route but we were the only patrons of color in the place and he just didn't make us feel welcome. I haven't felt that way in Seattle at any of the places we visited but I could tell that he just didn't want to serve us. I noticed also that he went to two other tables and delivered plateware and silverware for food they ordered but he had never given us any. As we were walking out the door, I noticed one of the kitchen staff taking out a pizza out of the oven. I asked my husband to go back in to maybe get the pizza to-go. He went in and talked directly to the kitchen staff. There were two people working. One person said it was his very first day (maybe that's why it was slow?) but the other experienced kitchen member confirmed through the food tickets that he had never received an order for a mushroom flatbread. The prosciutto pizzas they were making were for other people who came after us. It seemed as if the bartender never gave them our ticket for food which explained why it never came! He gave me a table number to get the food delivered, but never gave us dining ware. My husband explained the situation to the guy at the kitchen and he agreed that it was awful treatment. When my husband repeated what the bartender said to him he responded "that's ridiculous" because even though he was busy, he could have checked on our order. The bar was almost completely empty when we arrived and he never cared to check on anything for us. And was this done out of spite because he broke a big bill for me? Was he racist? I'm really not sure but all I know was that in my two visits to Seattle, I have never had such poor customer service. I'm grateful that the kitchen member gave us a refund; I ended up using the cash to tip our guide for the tour we were late for. I was excited to try a local spot, a neighborhood gem- but all I got in return was feeling disrespected and unwelcome. People from Seattle, you deserve better. Out-of-towners, there are so many bars and great places to eat around Pioneer Square. I do not recommend The Good Bar. Nothing out of the experience here was good. If anyone reads this review that works there, see the picture attached for a view of the bartender who served us in the background. I took a photo of our empty table for the food that never came.

When you first arrive, it's super cute! And then when you see the menu you may think it's limited but the bartender worked with me to make what I liked because they have a full bar and they're flexible. My friends ordered some food to share and I saw that the burger came with chips. I asked if I could buy just chips and he just brought me a plate no charge! They're really nice and accommodating. They brought us a pitcher of water for the table and took care of us for drinks. Highly recommend!

Good Bar is back! I thought this was one of the pandemic casualties . One of the best classic/ modern bar ambiance in the city. Glad to see it return with new ownership but still great drinks with better service. The bartender Sarah is great there and I would return just for her friendly banter and ability to serve, suggest drinks and carry conversations will all the bar patrons. I will for sure stop by any time in Pioneer Square. The Rhubarb mule is a must and the Marion-berry sangria is great as well.

This bar boasts a stylish atmosphere with a lively vibe and cozy high ceilings. It features a beautiful marble bar top that adds to its sophistication. The service is exceptional, with a fast and friendly bartender who makes amazing drinks. The Walnut Old fashioned is a must-try and received a wow from me. Although I didn't eat here, my friend raved about the savory lamb burger and pizza. Happy Hour runs from 4 pm to 7 pm and is a great deal with well-priced options. Parking is available in front of the bar, although I walked, so I'm not sure about the difficulty. If you're looking for a nice ambiance and delicious cocktails, visit this bar for a memorable experience.Giving thus place a 4.5 stars.

I came here for a 20-person meetup with this amazing fashion-forward group of women. The service was incredibly slow, the food left us disappointed and looking for something better. Drinks, tbh, I don't even remember. All a bit of a bummer considering the delightful interior design! Had it not been for our group this place would have been dead. And it was a warm Saturday evening! If you want a place to go that isn't crowded, and you're not particular with your food, then try it out because it is cute. But I wouldn't go back a second time.

Okay. I have to start by saying I was so excited when I saw the menu! So when I had a bad experience, I was really bummed. We walked in and were... not greeted by this 25 year old looking boy with shaggy hair, who looked miserable, or possibly too cool to emote positively. He just looked at us and I asked if we seat ourselves, to which he nodded. So we sat, he brought some menus, said nothing when I said thank you, and never came back. After about 10 min of sitting, I raised my hand, and he said something that I could not hear from across the room, and so I walked up to the counter, where he told me that it was order at the counter. Which would have been nice to know, because it felt like we were being completely ignored. Which we were honestly. And I expressed that he didn't share that with us, and he rolled his eyes. So I left. Really irritated. And went to this place called Darkalino's. This place was amazing & the service was so great & friendly. And there were some locals sitting at the bar who told us the sh*t attitude is common at Good Bar. So have fun

Drinks were fine and service was friendly/fast, but ordered a prosciutto and arugula flatbread and straight up got served pepperoni and warm romaine. Asked if it was the right one and they said yep. Also ordered two sandwiches but they were out of bread for it so we cancelled it. Really confused cause this place is highly recommended but outside of ok drinks it really wasn't. Maybe it's a good late night spot but if you want food, go literally anywhere else
