Golden Pizza & Indian Cuisine

Holy hell this place is AWESOME. A friend told me about it and I'd have honestly never seen it or sought it out otherwise. The fusion of Indian food ON pizza is super new for me but my whole family loved it. I wanna go back and just eat their Indian fare as the papadum and chutneys we started were awesome.

Who knew that the best pizza was right under my nose here in Brentwood! And add an Indian restaurant no less. Ordered some margarita pizza here on a whim one night. Service was fast, pizza was ready for takeout in 10 minutes, it was hot and delicious. The sauce is nice and sweet and the mozzarella and basil or high-quality. The crust is perfection. Skip Papa John's and Domino's, the best pizza in Brentwood is right here.

This is a wonderful place. It's great to see an Indian restaurant full of Indian people when eating. That's good you know it's good! I came to try the Indian style pizza. The chicken Tikka pizza was tremendous - very chest with loads of flavor. The crust also is whole grain and herby. Very good and different. A small was big enough for 2 of us. We also got a Lassi and tried the samosa chaat. The samosa was delicious, but the chaat could've used just a bit more spice and chutney. Otherwise though the service was wonderful - the staff was very kind and checked in multiple times. It is a nice chill spot - great for friends, family.

My girlfriend and I spent a few days in Nashville over Thanksgiving week and did a Google search to find places that would be open during the holiday. When Golden Pizza came up, the idea of Indian inspired pizza got us very excited. The location is somewhat hidden at the end of a strip mall parking lot. The vibe is a tavern style pizza restaurant complete with matching booths. It kind of reminded me of a Chicago family style pizza joint, and they nailed it! The server that took care of us was incredibly polite. I've never been called "sir" so many times in my life The true star of the show was the Chicken Tikka pizza. The crust was very crispy on the end, yet remained chewy and slightly floppy and seemed to borrow from both New York and Chicago styles. The combination of flavors was unbelievable and unlike any pizza that I've ever had before. We were both blown away and had to stop ourselves from continuing to eat it once we were full. This place is an absolute gem, and they've knocked it out of the park in just under the year that they've been open. I highly recommend that everybody tries this place if they're looking for a new take on pizza. My only regret was that we didn't order more food. Would definitely be a regular if we lived in Nashville.

Strike it rich at Golden! It is said the Indians revere gold and for good reason. Their cuisine meets the gold standard.I crept in on a late Saturday morning. Surmounting some language barriers, I ordered the Garlic Naan, Aboo Ghobi Masala, and pistachio ice cream. The Garlic naan was made fresh and was crisp and blackened with biting garlic flavor. An excellent start.The Aboo Ghobi was in a thick and sweet onion base. The onion was strongly represented. The cauliflower and potato, though more sparse, provided the coherence and meatiness to the dish.The Indian ice cream came early during the middle of my meal. It held together by dessert time and was triangular in shape. It was grainy and dry textured with bouts of sweetness. The dish portions are larger and more conducive towards group eating and sharing. All in all, a flavorful and hearty dining experience.

This pizza was amazing! We ordered a small chicken tikka pizza. So much cheese. Lots of flavor. A small was more than enough for two of us. We also ordered the samosa chaat, which was full of flavor but could have used a little more chutney. The staff was so friendly and constantly checking on us. Low key ambiance inside. The food speaks for itself. We finished the meal with a mango lassi, no notes. Will definitely return.

Good pizza with Indian toppings, this is a must try place, it's a must try if you're looking for a different toppings.

I love everything about this place: food, ambience and service. Every entree that I've tried has been delicious. Among my favorites are the Kashmiri tikka chicken, the Bhindi Aloo, and the Vegetarian Pizza. The service is friendly and efficient, and it's just a really nice place for lunch or dinner. Also the take-out service is excellent!

I'm vegan and felt like I had some delicious choices here. I ordered online and picked it up. I like that when ordering online there is a place for special instructions for each item you order. So I was able to request no butter, ghee or cream for the 4 items. The Dal Fry (yellow lentils) were very tasty maybe even a hint of smokiness. The Saag with potatoes was delicious as well. The okra was a little too oily for my preference. The plain naan was right out of the tandoor and superb. Will most definitely eat here again.
