This Golden Hook is okay- the other location a bit further north is significantly better in terms of food quality. Both are about the same in terms of service: friendly to customers but a bit slow in getting your order ready. Golden Hook is better than other Fish & Chicken places in the area. I'd give them between 3&4 stars if half stars were a thing on Yelp. I'd def recommend the fried chicken especially the legs. Meals come with crinkle fries, total cost per person ~$6-$8. One last thing to note: the desserts are okay (the pink strawberry cake is the only one IMO worth it to buy), and they are made by a separate, local Latino bakery shop. Especially when you compare the price to the relatively cheap Chicken & Fish meals, the cost of the desserts are really high. Each piece is ~$4.50.

So far I've had excellent customer service and the place is MUCH cleaner than many of the other spots nearby. It feels pretty bright and safe, especially today with the after church crowd. The prices are reasonable and the portions are generous. Definitely remember to grab a dessert too!

I have ordered and had delivered fish and chicken from here several times before and they were great, but tonight, Thur 11/21/2019, I ordered 20 whole wings with fries and two hot dogs with fries and a soda. The only thing eatable in this order was the fries, the wings were whole but so tiny I took three to make one and reheated so many times we couldn't eat them, I would think you couldn't ruin a hot dog but they were so old and shriveled up covered with a pile of condiments I should have called the health Dept,, I ordered a two liter Sprite I got a Seven Up, the soda that was a part of the two hot dog order was supposed to be a Coke they sent a Seven Up. Never again, I shouldn't have to tell you I want FRESH COOKED FOOD!!!!!

Delivery from this place is a joke. They took two hours and when I called about it, said that the food was on time. Straight up lied. All the food is soggy and cold. Strongly recommend against getting a deli every from this place.
