Golden Hawaiian BBQ

We were in the mood for Hawaiian food and have never been here before. We drove 26 mins to get here. I read they have pineapple chicken and spicy chicken. I wanted both on the chicken combo. I was told by the not so friendly person behind the counter told I could not do that. So I got just the pineapple chicken and the wife got the bbq chicken and beef combo. Wifee said the beef was dry and the portion was very small for the amount of money it cost ($16.95) and there wasn't any bbq flavor. My pineapple chicken was juicy but the breading was over-fried I hurt my tooth. My meal was 12.65. The two drinks were 3.95 a piece.The total for the full meal was $39.78.Not worth the price.Now, the men's restroom was a nightmare. Paper towels all over the floor. The urinal was full and could not see into the mirror as it was covered with water drops.Will not be coming back for more.

I used to always get golden Hawaiian to go and I feel like today it just wasn't the same. Overall it is good however the pasta salad was not too impressive this time around, something that usually was always good! I did really enjoy the teriyaki bowl which comes with rice, it has a perfect amount of sauce and is well made. We also paid $40 for all of this which is a bit pricey for the quality of the food but overall it was atill good. The inside of the restaurant could also used a remodel, everything is very outdated and the walls were dirty. The attendant was kind.

Food was bland, cashier could use training in customer service. It was like someone was forcing her against her will to work there. Oh and I got diarrhea after eating there. Both my husband and I did. Never going back.

I went to a couple of Hawaiian food places while I was visiting the Phoenix area and this was not the best. It was good, and I had the mixed barbecue plate. The chicken was OK. the Bulgogi was average and the ribs were decent. The rice was very good but the macaroni salad was literally macaroni and mayonnaise. This would not be my first choice for Hawaiian food in the Phoenix area. Go to Aloha kitchen first.

1 star as Zero isn't an option. Bad service and horrible food. See the pics and you will get an idea why. I pitched it in the trash and went across the parking lot for a burger instead.

I ordered the 2 BBQ combo couple days ago, all the meat were burnt 70% at least. I called the restaurant if I can bring these back and get new one. The burnt meat is very bad for health. However, they told me to deal with Uber, nothing they can do!Very disappointed and will not go to this restaurant again.

I ordered a BBQ Plate with chicken, a side of macaroni salad & spam masubi. I loved the food, the taste was great! I will definitely be back! My boyfriend picked up the food, it was quick & easy pick up.

I wanted something a little different for lunch and I thought I'd give Golden Hawaiian BBQ a shot. I ordered the BBQ Mix, which comes with BBQ Chicken, BBQ Beef, Kalibi Short Ribs, rice and macaroni salad. Admittedly, I'm really not familiar with Hawaiian food, so I don't really have anything to compare this to, but I'd have to say that, overall, it was just OK. I wasn't wow'ed by it, but I didn't think it was bad either. The meat was tender and tasted good. The macaroni salad was a little too bland for my liking. I'd probably eat here again if I were to find myself wanting something "different."

The taste was okay. I wish they cut the spam thicker and sealed the seaweed wrap better. It kept falling apart, but hey it still tasted decent. Not the best, but passable. It was barely warm when I got it.

Here it is Thur at 2:30 and I walk in to this place with the full intention to order two hundred dollars in food instead I left with nothing What a waste of my time !The place was completely empty and I was greeted by a young girl in a mask .Long story short I asked if I could order large containers of the teriyaki, pineapple , orange chicken with a large side of rice , pasta salad I was told no , not possible , only dinner sizes I asked if a catering order would be considered She responded , you may get individual containers of barbecue and teriyaki chicken, but not the orangeThat is only served with dinner combo orders .I stood there, baffled and tried very hard to be polite but I got a tell ya if she worked in my restaurant she'd be fired.I asked if I could talk to a manager or the owner about a large order She popped back and told me this will not change the policy Honestly , this young girl was cold and unhelpful .Telling a customer that talking to someone else about about large dinner order was ridiculous .I have managed restaurant and and large orders were always welcome Maybe this place doesn't need the money .Who knows I won't be returning
