Golden Donuts

I drive by Golden Donuts all the time and I have seen all of the positive reviews on Yelp. My fellow Pearland Yelpers seem to love this spot! During Winter Storm Uri (aka snowpocalypse) last year, I tried to buy some donuts, but the line was literally to the door. Everyone had the same idea as me. No running water, no electricity...the solution must be donuts! Unfortunately the line was so long and was moving so slowly, that I gave up and left. Fast forward a year later, and I found myself stopping here after my dental appointment because the best thing to eat after getting your teeth cleaned is sugar!There was only one customer in front of me. Before I could decide on what I wanted, another employee came out to take my order so there was basically no wait. A complete 180 from last time. I ordered a glaze twist and a chocolate iced donut. Those are kind of my standard donuts when I don't know what to order. Like many donut shops they also sell kolaches and breakfast tacos. There was a sign on the door for brisket kolaches. I'm not big on kolaches, but I love brisket so I may need to try them the next time I go. I'm also curious to try the breakfast tacos. I find that some of the best breakfast tacos are made at donut shops. Not sure why that is...The donuts are delicious!! They were very soft and tasty. The chocolate icing on the donut melted in my mouth. The glazed twist was so good, especially when I heated it up. I tried so hard not to stuff my face, but I failed. Oh well, at least I supported small business!

Love love love love love love love love love this little donut shop! Can the church pray with me? Lord, I failed on my diet while in Texas, but forgive me for I did know what I was doing but I needed to try this donut shop out as it kept looking at me. God forgive me for I have failed this diet. Some of the best donuts and kolaches in Greater Houston/Pearland , and the customer service is top notch! Reasonably priced, minority-owned, and conveniently located. A community staple!

I order several dozen plain glazed for the classes I teach when it's finals time. They always have them ready to go on time. Great doughnuts and I can't help but get a brisket kolache for myself. Right?

My family have been getting breakfast from here for years and the place is nice and fast. Most importantly, the food and service is great. It's never too crowded and nice and quiet, so you can sit down and relax while having a nice morning meal!

Take the drive. Run and get you the brisket kolaches! You just can't eat 1. These delights are DANG ON DELICIOUS!

Love the donut/ donut holes here. I've never had the kolaches or coffee but I see it being ordered a lot. The customer service is okay. Worth a try.
