Imagine explaining a bagel to an alien who has never heard of bagels. Then the aliens makes a bagel. The bagels from Goldberg's are markedly worse than the alien's bagels.Bread with seeds on it. No chew. Falls apart. No crust. Soggy. Unsettlingly sweet. Breakfast sandwich insides were unremarkable. Toasted everything with regular cream cheese was dense and borderline inedible. For a place with numerous locations, you can't afford better than unrefrigerated plastic, disposable canisters of half and half next to the coffee? While the Goldberg family continues to make money from their franchising efforts I'm sure, I'm not sure how they sleep at night while offering such an embarrassingly inferior product. At least pricing isn't a total rip in general, but it's fairly high. $4 upcharge to add an avocado to a sandwich is laughable -- that's well more than an avocado costs. There are better bagels in Cobb and Chamblee. It's worth the drive. 1/5 I didn't get violently ill but hey, at least I'm $15 dollars poorer

There aren't many other cheap breakfast/brunch places in the area, which is why Goldbergs is always packed.I got the Egg and Cheese sandwich on an everything bagel with potato latkes as my side ($7.95). It was pretty mediocre. The "everything" bagel was mostly sesame seeds. And the potato latkes were room temperature and just not that good.Someone in my party got the Georgia Reuben ($15.50) and said it was really good. The fries didn't look that good though.I wouldn't go out of my way for Goldbergs, but if you're in the area, it's a reasonably priced and convenient option.

Came here for Sunday brunch. There was a short wait, but we were seated pretty quickly. I had the Nova on a Bagel with fruit, which was executed perfectly. The staff was busy but very nice.

Today, we visited Goldbergs Fine Foods - Dunwoody aka deli. On our way back north from Atlanta, we decided to get a deli sandwich. On a Sunday around 12:45 p.m., the place was nearly full. Only 2 tables open after we sat. We were greeted and seated immediately, and our waitress made contact just as fast to let us know she would be by momentarily. Brittany was so friendly and full of energy. She took our order without writing it down, and it all showed up correctly. Our drinks and our food were out very fast despite being a near full house. I ordered the Brooklyn Reuben with potato salad, and she ordered a pastrami on Rye with cole slaw. My sandwich was very hot and flavorful meat with a rye bread that was crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, aka perfect. The potato salad was flavorful with quite a few ingredients, a tasty treat. Also, a pickle on the plate (without any juice to make the bread soggy) attention to detail and not every deli gets this. While my wife enjoyed her sandwich, the pastrami was a little dry but tasty nonetheless. She ate it all, so it was a passing grade for sure. Although this place is pretty far away, we will be back. A shame they do not have a deli in Sugar Hill.

Mediocre food, served by people who don't want to be there, and is wrong like half the time. Most recent order was a bacon and egg sandwich with cream cheese. I guess counting to three has become difficult.

We came here on a Sunday morning at around 9 am. Parking at that time was easy to get right in front of the restaurant. There were customers at only 5 tables when we arrived. Even then, it took about a minute before one of the dining room employees acknowledged we were there, gesturing toward the dining area indicating that we could sit at any table, then she brought menus to us soon after we sat down.Lots of tables inside. Some tables were outside, but I'm not sure if servers will provide service outside. There is a very busy deli area where customers can walk in (or call in), order and do take out. It looked like the deli employees were very quick and efficient. Deli items in the cases looked very good. Some of the items were fresh and ready to eat, like salads, while other items were deli meats and cheeses that were just waiting to be sliced on demand. There were also prepared frozen foods that customers could take home and heat up to save themselves preparation time. Our server was just ok during the time we were at Goldbergs. She was nice, but neither quick nor efficient. It took her a few minutes to get to our table in spite of an almost empty restaurant; before she arrived, I saw her talking to someone in the kitchen. I ordered eggs Benedict with bacon, and latkes. R ordered Nova on Bagel, smoked salmon served with cream cheese, red onions, tomatoes and capers, and wanted it on an Everything bagel. This came with a side, and he chose fresh fruit. He also ordered a side of over easy eggs.15 minutes after we ordered, our food arrived. R's eggs were hot, and he said that all of his food was good. However, I quickly found out my eggs Benedict food was barely warm and the latkes were cold, but had to wait a few minutes for our server to come back around so that I could tell her. She quickly took the plate back to the kitchen. Ten minutes later, hot food was served. The eggs Benedict was hot, but the hollandaise sauce completely lacked flavor. The latkes were hard throughout and definitely overcooked. This was a not so good food experience for me.

I had the biscuits and gravy. Biscuits were amazing!!! Soft, fluffy and great flavor. The gravy was thin, tasted like chicken bouillon and I don't think they use pork sausage in their gravy. They don't put much gravy on the plate. Had to skip one of the biscuit halves because I ran out of gravy. I would NOT order this again.I followed it up with a side of latkes. Oh boy was that a mistake. They don't cook/fry them to order. They were lukewarm and chewy like they had been cooked over a hour earlier and held on a steam table. Again, I would not recommend these.Maybe they have great bagels? IDK.
