Tonight I went with my wife and another couple to Gold Schnitzel, we had a great first experience! We ordered a broad assortment of items and shared everything family style. They started us off with complimentary pickled veggies, which we enjoyed throughout the whole meal. We ordered Pita bread, Chickpea Hummus, Arayes, Israeli Schnitzel, American Schnitzel, Israeli Salad, and Tabula Salad. Everything was delicious and the combination was fantastic. Starting with the pita and hummus, it was the best first bite of pita dipped in hummus that I've had since visiting Israel many years ago. The Schnitzels were mouth wateringly good. The Arayes was incredible, so extremely juicy and bursting with flavor. The service was great, they were very welcoming and took great care of us from start to finish. The restaurant was cozy and vibrant, lots of people were there, and with the Israeli music videos playing in the background, it was a good vibe. Definitely adding Gold Schnitzel to the rotation!

Amazing tasty Israeli food. I come from Los Angeles and I have a lot of Israeli friends. I know Israeli home cooking/Israeli cuisine... this is right up in there with the great L.A. Israeli restaurants. Visit Gold Schnitzel. Great food. A little pricey but worth the money. But as always most importantly GREAT amazing customer service! The people are great! The ambiance doesn't feel busy although it has people rotating in and out.

New Glatt Kosher meat restaurant in the Seattle area. The sandwich was fantastic, although for non kosher customers the prices are on the higher side due to the strict requirements.

First time trying, parking hard to find. Parked in back. Order food at a kiosk, I had no choice but to tip 25%, couldn't change it. Food came quick, ordered the Israeli Schnitzel and Israeli salad. My entree came with a small ramekin like container with red cabbage and another with cut up Israeli pickle. The price for the food is definitely overpriced, my daughter ordered before me and she ordered the same thing, they forgot to make her food and in the end her food was half the size I received, she was so hungry but felt at this point over an hour of being forgotten after placing order should have comped her food. Staff seemed all over the place, very amateur. Great idea just overpriced food and service is very mid level. Would not return based on mediocre food, overpriced, lack of parking and service and I don't appreciate having to tip 25% on a sandwich, salad and 2 cans of juice.

Ok, I can't really give an honest review here because I looked at the prices of the menu items on the website. No way am I going to pay $30 for a burger. And certainly not in Renton. Prices in general are way out of control and it's not their fault but putting a $30 price tag on a Burger is outrageous. If Gold Schnitzel were to ever lower their prices to something that is acceptable, then I would gladly order a meal from them. Until then, good luck.

This place is worth traveling from Seattle. The food is absolutly amazing. The service is friendly. The ambience is like somebody teleported you to some small city in Israel. I had a schitzel in a plate, served with spicy harissa, hummus and a pitta bread. It was delicious and very well presented.I noticed some comments about the pricing. The restaurant serves glat kosher meat and home made food. That is expensive (e.g. a package of frozen kosher burgers in grocery store is 2x higher than a non-kosher alternative.)

The restaurant had extremely good food, however the service is the worst I've ever experienced. My wife and I walked in and there was a woman behind the counter more interested in her tablet then greeting customers. We were looking for a menu and she pointed to a kiosk and said you ordered there. You paid for your meal and your tip in advanceThe hostess was engrossed in her iPad and ignoring everyone around her. When our meal came she delivered the meal and left, never checking up with us again. She completely ignored my wife when my wife wanted a box for leftovers. Another worker who was on his break noticed my wife and asked if he could help her. She said yesThe hostess got angry, and and asked why my wife why didn't say something. My wife told her that she was waiting to see if she would actually take the initiative to follow up on our order.I didn't know you had to call the wait staff to follow up in a decent restaurant. You expect to order from kiosk and have no service at a place like McDonald's. But when you're paying over 30 to $40 per meal you expect service. This restaurant did not deliver at all

The environment exudes a delightful, modern casual ambiance, boasting an attractive appeal. While the prices lean toward the higher end, it's a reasonable expectation for a kosher meat restaurant in Seattle. The cuisine, labeled as "Mediterranean," unfortunately lacks some quintessential elements typically found on an Israeli restaurant's menu. The schnitzel sandwich, while tasty, lacks the distinctive flavor profile one might anticipate given the price point. The juice selection, on the other hand, is commendable, with the mango juice standing out as a highly recommended choice. All in all, the food offers a solid quality, the ambiance fosters a comfortable dining experience, and the service is notably swift. I'd consider returning, driven in part by the fact that it's the lone meat restaurant in the entirety of Washington
