Do you know what goes well with coffee ? Sandwiches Checked out @goldcoastcafechi tonight for a collaboration and I'm so happy I did! The ambiance was amazing inside!! These four sandwiches pictured have to be the best deli sandwiches I've had in a long while! All of them were cooked to perfection and tasted exactly like their description on the menu! Also having the owner cook all four was the cherry on top of a good night! Pictured here is the Italian Beef , Croissant Egg and cheese with Turkey bacon and hash-browns Grilled Chicken Wrap , Philly Steak Another amazing part is that it's not just a place to grab a bite but also to chill and order a cup of coffee and their medium iced coffee is only.... 0.99 cents this price for dark matter coffee is a steal and not to mention both coffees were delicious One was a tiramisu latte and the other was a caramel iced coffee with almond milk, truly perfect on top of everything that we had to eat we got dessert which was a slice of tiramisu cake and fruit cups of watermelon honeydew, and cantaloupe paired with dessert were these yummy @youth.juice and each one is made fresh and so worth a try! All in all this place is a 10/10 whether you come for breakfast or need to stop somewhere before midnight and grab something to eat they are open and their menu is all day, so breakfast for dinner sounds amazing to me always

I came here for breakfast on a Sunday with a friend! I got the avocado toast with two eggs and picked onions. It tasted filling and fresh! There's cozy seating with couches and benches. Lots of sunlight. The food came out quick too.

This is a cozy place and is casual with comfortable seating and tables. Ordering can be done at a kiosk order station or directly at the counter. Whether you dine in or "take out" you pick up your order at the counter-no table service.The food is sandwich focused and is made on order which allows the customer to select or deselect or substitute items as they wish. The sandwiches are hand crafted all with local Chicago Street or Neighborhood titles-clever and fun.I ordered the Chicago Style Hot Dog which was standard but had a nice twist of pickled red onions! Delicious. My sandwich was also hearty and "on point" and I substituted Chipotle Mayo on the side.This deli/cafe recently opened and appears to be in "the soft" opening stages of operation. Patience comes to those that wait-and it is worth it!

Outstanding! Great selection of sandwiches and other items. Service is fast and friendly, with ordering by kiosk. Plenty of comfortable seating. I ordered the Clark Street Wrap, which is a vegan wrap with avocado and hummus. Everything was fresh, and a really great value for only $8. I also ordered an iced coffee (the medium is only $1!), which was also really good. Check this place out!

This is a great local spot for a good deli sandwich or breakfast sandwich. I tried the Division sandwich and they said that's their most popular. The service was great and the place is very clean. Def recommend if you're staying in the neighborhood.

Gold Coast Cafe has below average sandwiches. Absolutely nothing impressed me -- the ingredients didn't seem fresh, the pre made sandwich combinations all seemed exactly the same, it wasnt really "toasted", etc. The coffee also was not great, but coffee with oat milk and vanilla syrup being less than $2 is an absolute steal... so I guess a star for that! Another star for the efficient ordering system.

Very mediocre food for above average prices. Wanted an "all day breakfast" sandwich but I was told they weren't making them at the time, so ended up getting two make your own sandwiches. We ordered on touch screens and paid there too. The ordering was quick and easy, but once we paid we were told some of the ingredients were out. The sandwiches were not toasted, and the ingredients are pretty low quality. One sandwich had lettuce on it which was not requested so I had to pick off the lettuce mixed in with the sauces. The staff was pretty standoffish but that didn't affect my experience. Our total was $35 for two sandwiches and 2 deli pickles. I would rather spend that at potbelly's or jimmy John's or even Quiznos versus come back to this deli.

The Gold Coast finally has a deli in the neighborhood and it's a good one that's worth a try. I got a bacon egg and cheese on a bagel for $7 and it was about as good as it could get. The bacon was crispy and not fatty and the eggs had the perfect amount of runniness.My only feedback would be to cut the bacon egg and cheese on half and to offer rolls in addition to bagels. I will definitely be back to try their lunch options.

Bagel was great. The sauce was delicious and was toasted well. I'd say the bagel was solid 8/10. Ordered a smoothie, however, they were out of ingredients. Finally got the blueberry smoothie which tasted mid.Service wasn't horrible, the food came out within 10 minutes.Ambience was pretty nice since it was modern and had seating areas.Overall a 6.5/10 since the bagel was good but service and other stuff wasn't the greatest.

You just can't beat the price of their cold brew! What a steal The cafe is amazing overall!
