Update: I don't know what the owner is talking about, because this is very obviously glass and it made the roof of my mouth bleed. Notice how he doesn't even offer to refund my meal. I still have the glass piece. This used to be my favorite place, but I literally just pulled a sharp piece of glass out of my mouth from a to-go box with Korean fried chicken. I'm really fortunate it got stuck in the roof of my mouth and I didn't swallow it.Be careful. To the restaurant, throw out any food that was around broken glass or open bags of rice.

Food has always been delicious when we order from here. We like the Korean chicken and chicken katsu the best. The yakisoba is DELICIOUS! The honey garlic fried chicken is good as well however it doesn't taste the same the next day if you have leftovers so it's good if you'll finish it on the same day.We usually order online and pick it up there. Their online ordering system works well

Excuse me, why didn't anyone tell me how freaking delicious Gold Chicken is?! We've gone 3 times in 2 weeks because of how good it is! It may not look like much from the outside but trust the reviews and go.The portions are huge and the prices are great. The Honey Garlic Chicken is amazing - it's definitely my favorite thing I've tried so far. The second time we went, we tried a few different sushi rolls and the fish was all so fresh, it was delicious! Easily some of the freshest and best sushi in Everett imo. There really isn't much indoor seating, it's really just enough to sit while you're waiting for your order to come out so keep that in mind. The owners and friendly and service is fast. Gold Chicken is definitely one of our new favorites and we'll be going often!

HUGE portions/CHEAP EATS!Gold Chicken popped up on my home page and I was shocked to see that it was so close to home--yet I had never heard of it. It's the kind of place you pass all the time but don't realize it's there. I'm here to tell you, if you're in the area and hangry for a chicken bowl, you've got to stop by. I called to place my order ahead of time and the woman who answered the phone was super sweet. When my husband stopped in to pick it up, she included an extra miso soup on the house--so nice!We ordered the honey garlic chicken bowl and the honey BBQ chicken bowl. We both got miso soup. My husband also wanted to try their chow mein. It was so much food I could only eat half of my chicken bowl. Things I like:-Unlike some places, they don't skimp on the rice. -Each bowl comes with 3 gyoza-The chicken is well done and flavorful-Huge portions-Bowls start at 9.99!-The chow mein was tasty-Packaging is more eco-friendly than most Things for improvement:-The gyoza was good but soggy -The bowls were a little on the salty sideI'm putting this on my list of Cheap Eats and will definitely return to try their Korean Fried Chicken bowl. They have a couple combos that cost more but give you TONS of food. This is a good choice for a family meal.

Gold Chicken is tucked away in the plaza next to Target on Everett Mall Way (the old Toshi's). Love the food and the choices. I'm super picky about the quality of the chicken and their chicken is great! My favorite is the spicy chicken teriyaki bowl. The bowls come with a salad and 3 gyoza. The service is pretty fast and the couple running the restaurant are always friendly. The restaurant is small and there is not really any place to sit, just plan on ordering it to pick up or using a delivery service. It's a little hard to find an online menu because all the delivery services pop up first and then you are viewing inflated prices. I prefer to just call in my order for pickup.

Subject: Disappointed Review of Gold Chicken in EverettI wanted to share my recent experience at Gold Chicken in Everett, as I believe it is important to provide feedback.After hearing about the rave reviews on Yelp, my family and I decided to give it a try. We always have a friendly competition where we rate all the food and restaurants we visit.To begin with, I would like to mention that Gold Chicken is a carry-out only establishment, as there is limited space for dining in. As a family of four, it felt quite cramped once we entered.In terms of taste, as a family, we collectively rated the food a 7 out of 10. However, I must admit that the presentation of the to-go bowls and the way the food was packed was impeccable, earning a solid 10 in that aspect.Unfortunately, the question we asked ourselves as a family was whether we would return, and regrettably, the answer is no. It is difficult to explain, but there was something off in the flavor of the beef and chicken dishes; they did not meet our expectations despite their appealing appearance.Additionally, I want to make you aware that Gold Chicken is more of a "hole in the wall" type of establishment, where cleanliness does not seem to be a priority.In conclusion, sometimes appearances can be deceiving, as something that looks good may not always taste good. Food and service from here is always great. They have a lot of great options for their plates. It's perfect for people like me who can't decide on one thing and want to have a variety of options. They have lots of combo plate options for that. It's a bit pricey though. It's also worth noting that this isn't a place for dine in. It's really small inside so you can only do take out. It's also best to call ahead for your order.

I've ordered from here three times. The first time the food I received was great, the second time it was mediocre (I remember the chicken being soggy), and tonight what I received was disgusting. I ordered the honey garlic chicken bento box and everything was fine except for the chicken. There was no honey flavor and the chicken tasted bland, it looked like it was covered in mayonnaise. Maybe it's because I ordered right before closing but there is no acceptable excuse for serving a customer the quality of food I ate tonight.
