Came in for some coffee in passing through AZ. The food menu looked yummy but unfortunately the one thing I wanted they were out so that was disappointing being so early in the day. The coffee was just ok for me. I got their honey Bun with oak milk. Nothing special really. Tasted almost watered down which of course it wasn't. My husband got a peanut butter and banana toast he really enjoyed it. Coffee shop is cute and modern but not super big. Employees working were both nice and helpful and appreciated their help when choosing what to ordered. Just missed the mark for me personally and then not having food so early was a bummer.

One star because the crew was super good. But regarding the coffee tasted awful. The largest size they have looks like a small. Paid about $9 for ice with a side of coffee. Definitely a waste of your money.

They have specialty lattes, seasonal ones too, smoothies, lemonades, tamales, breakfast sandwiches, gelato cookie sandwiches, and baked goods. They have indoor and outdoor seating. Staff was extremely friendly and nice!We enjoyed the Blueberry Basil Lemonade the most. The Green Chicken Chile tamale was great. The Pistachio Latte definitely needed more pistachio. The Chicken Chipotle tamale was good but needed more chipotle.

I was in town visiting for work and I wanted to find a cozy spot to grab coffee and a quick breakfast. I saw the reviews for this coffee bar and decided to give it a try, I was intrigued by the tamales. When I made it to Gold Brew Coffee Bar I was greeted by friendly staff. The coffee bar was on the smaller side but quaint and quiet. When I try a new coffee place I tend to order a plain cold brew to check out the quality of the beans. I wanted to try out the tamales, but they were all sold out, which is a little disappointing. So I ended up ordering a cold brew and an avocado toast. Everything that I ordered came out quickly, which was nice. The avocado toast was presented really nicely, and tasted good but had far too many micro-greens on it. I was not so impressed with the cold brew. There was an interesting aftertaste, and for the quality of the beans/brew I felt as though it was a bit overpriced. There seemed to be other options on the menu for coffees, teas and pastries. Maybe it's better to give those a try. I seemed to hear a few people order their Matcha Sunrise.

Really cute and cozy coffee spot. They do have decaf- I had a decaf americano which was quite nice. They also have a wide variety of refrigerated food items, pastries, and hot food, including plenty of vegan options. Very reasonable prices.

Stopped here for an Elfin' Around Latte, hot - 2/1/24. It was good but pricey, place was small but clean, & employees were friendly. I had to ask for WiFi password & was easy to connect. However, after leaving my home in southern Gilbert, driving my husband to the airport, & picking something up in Deer Valley before stopping here I REALLY needed to use the restroom. Unfortunately, their restroom was out of service. Had I known that before ordering I probably would have just taken my business somewhere else & I definitely wouldn't have drank it there. (I like supporting small local businesses, but... Bathrooms are a big deal to me. I personally believe that businesses without bathroom access shouldn't be open).

I am never in the area, but was out making runs to different contractors as part of my job. I needed to use the restroom but didn't want to be the guy to pop in for only that. I ordered a coffee and a homemade pop tart. I was not disappointed. The coffee tasted nice and the treat was perfectly done. not too sweet and not too hard. Just perfect. Great environment to work and the staff was really friendly. I know what you are thinking, did I get to use the bathroom? Thanks for asking, yes I did. The facility was very clean. It is now a part of my route when I am out there in the area.
