Going Bananas

Hidden gem sandwich shop tucked in the back of an unassuming market/corner store. Subs pack flavor and meats are cut fresh right in front of you.

Cute market in the North End with a good selection of fresh fruits & vegetables. I don't live in the area, but I can imagine how helpful this little grocery is to those who do. There's a large deli in the back that was closed by the time I stopped in. They have a large selection of fresh foods, cheeses, non-perishables, snacks and juices. I'll be stopping in again in the future to grab a few items that are harder to find. I found my new favorite juice here, called Natalie's Orange Beet juice! Delicious! The woman who worked here was not very friendly but that's Boston. She wasn't outright rude either, but was not interested in small talk. It was also late and they were still open at least.

Some of them are nice some of them are just unaware of their surroundings just chilling at the door or in the way talking to each other and ignoring you. Prices are overpriced. But if you're lazy that and golden goose and the boston public market if you live around here are close. But walk a bit further star market is only 10 min away. The smoothies and sandwiches tho are bomb

A small grocery shop and deli counter in the North End, Going Bananas has a good produce selection, lots of ready to eat and heat and spread stuff and some cheeses, too. Dry goods like cereals and household cleaning stuff too.Service was friendly and helpful.

Great local market! There is surprisingly a lot of options here and it's great for a quick stop if you need something to complete your dinner. The prices are a little higher than a regular grocery store but it does the job for last minute items or a small haul!

Store shockingly has everything. I love it. Amazing job doing the inventory - basics to gourmet and fresh produce. Love it: nice work.

The juices here are amazing, the women take care and time to make the juices. The atmosphere is kind, maybe know a little bit of Spanish to ask questions easier but overall great.

The price for a sub has almost doubled from $8 to $12. And almost half the size now. I will never go back.

You should update your hours on Google and Yelp - on Sundays in particular you guys seem to be closed by 7pm a lot. Pretty frustrating to take the trip there in 15 degree weather only to find out your hours are not up to date on Google.

What's the point of having business hours if you don't follow them. This was the 3rd time in less than 2 weeks that I went before their closing time and they were closed over a half hour before. It's not fair for your customers.
