Our favorite place for Korean food in the Chandler area. Ordered Kalbi (beef short-ribs), pork belly, and Japchae (noodles, vegetables and bulgogi). Always like the side dishes. Enough left for a midnight snack :)Thanks Gogi

We ended up having an upset stomach after we dined at GOGI. The restaurant serves below average Korean cuisine with too much options to choose from the menu! Got seated immediately. We ordered the combo with Soon tofu pork and mackerel, side of house salad. It took some time for the food to get to our table. The salad was okay with too much ginger dressing. Next the soup was a bit watery with just tofu and small chunks of pork. Not much Veggies in it. The fish was okay too, very oily not fried properly! The Banchan was poorly done aswell. The cucumber kimchi felt stale, cabbage kimchi was okay, fish cake was just bad! The server never bothered to check on us after we got our food. We came home disappointed and ended up having upset tummies. I do not recommend Gogi. There are better Korean food options!

Been here a few times now and have had a different experience every time. The portion size for their entrees is quite generous, with appropriate pricing. Taste-wise however, their food isn't consistent. Their food can taste delicious and on point one visit, and the next visit those same dishes can be lacking in flavor. But there are also certain dishes that I've had from here that have stayed consistent. Those being, the kalbi and the garlic fried chicken, both are dishes that are hard to go wrong with at any Korean restaurant. Overall, service is friendly enough but has always been quite slow. The restaurant might look small from the outside, but it's quite spacious with plenty of tables. The décor on the inside is simple, with not much of an ambience.

Had lunch with kids, and they love this place to get their Korean food fix in Arizona. My wife and I see why as we enjoyed everything we ordered. Starting with the Bonchon, each dish was delicious with its own unique flavor. The Kimchi Pancake was devoured, and my wife enjoyed her soup. Our service was polite and checked on us frequently. Overall, we see why our kids who are local have this spot in their rotation, and I am sure we will be back in the future.

I was craving a hot bowl of soup on a cold and rainy day. I was leaning towards pho or ramen but decided to give Gigi a try as their menu seemed interested. The oxtail soup options were intriguing, but I decided to keep it conservative and go with a beef and brisket soup. The presentation was nice, but I did feel the noodle to broth ratio was way off. It looked like and tasted like a pho. Very light and delicate and only a few nuggets of brisket. The meal came with 5 side dishes, but i didn't try any- I would told them not to bring them out if I had known (sorry to waste). I found it tasty overall but I left unsatisfied and felt it was a little overpriced.

A big group of co-workers and I tried out Gogi for lunch and it was a great time. Food was good and pretty quick for how many of us there were.Staff was friendly and the portions are on the large side. Lunch specials are a good price too!

During the 2020 pandemic, we ordered from Gogi. A lot. We ordered takeout today and remembered how good this place is!Portions are HUGE and the ban chan selection is really good. I ordered the beef dinner bento which came with a side of rice and everything was great!I do wish the side of rice was a little larger but making rice at home is easy. Definitely a great spot for korean food!

Yummmm, this place was delicious! Best way to order here is family style. The portions are huge and it's the best way to try everything. We ordered the seafood pancake, short ribs, garlic KFC, sweet and sour KFC, and the japchae. Everything was really good but the sweet and sour KFC and the japchae were the winners. Service was so-so but the food was really worth it.

Been going here for years now and still good! Servers were really nice and brought us extra side dishes throughout our meal. Soup was good but imo definitely not as good as BCD in LA... Interior was cute too but didn't really match a Korean restaurant vibe ..it was more like a cafe ish vibe(?) inside

When I'm in the area, I usually stop here. You will get sides (kimchi, sweet potato, fish cakes etc) when you order a food item that is not a bento box. The food is always delicious! The fried chicken with green onions is a lot of food!
