Stopped in this morning around 9 am for a quick breakfast - it was relatively busy inside but there were seats here and there Ambiance: Very spacious and beautiful space! Lots of tables, a cute easy to read menu, and very full and aesthetic display case of pastries A lot of people were working and there is also outside seating available - they also had water cups, condiments, and a bin to place ur plates after ur done Service: Cashier was quick, took my order, and gave me a little table number. My items came out within 10 minutes Food: Matcha Latte w/ Oat Milk: 5/10 - it does come sweetened , as you can see by the color it's a very muddy green - poor matcha quality, the flavor itself isn't bad - it's not grassy at all and is a relatively mild vanilla flavor ?? - the oat milk was creamy - I can't say this is a matcha latte but as a drink, it wasn't bad Greek Naanwich - w/ a side of fruit: 8/10 - you can also get chips instead of fruit - for $13.99 this thing is HUGE but it's mostly lettuce in there - the chicken portion is alright but a little more would make it perfect - I loved the pita on this - crispy and fluffy, held together well - the dressing was light and tangy- honestly just needed a better meat to veggie ratio but this was a pretty light and filling breakfast - the fruit cup wasn't noteworthy Would come back to try some more popular offerings!

I stopped here after a long flight and didn't even look up any reviews, but I was very impressed with my food and coffee. The chicken club was exactly what I wanted. It was fresh and the bread was soft, but not soggy. My latte was pretty good, too.The ambiance of this place was super cute and fun! Really nice lunch spot.

It was busy this morning (mid Saturday morning) but the line moved quickly. My friend got the Açaí bowl, seemed to enjoy it.My Morning Sandwich, I changed to sourdough bread. It was yummy and filling - good amount of everything on it. The strawberry matcha was also quite yummy, tasted mostly the milk and strawberry, over matcha flavor. Definitely worth checking out if you're in Chicago.

I was not very impressed with my experience at this coffee shop/ bakery. The manager was present on the day i visited & i really don't think the "high standards" that they try to keep are helping out the business. The staff out on the floor was quite rude. This was not the case with the employee at the register. I decided to order a chocolate croissant which was really dry and tasted stale. I'm not sure if you have to ask for pasteries to be toasted here but i was really disappointed. I've had better croissants from my hometown in Ohio. Final consensus; skip out on this coffee shop & try another !

Came here on a Thursday to grab some morning coffee and a pastry. They were super busy! I ordered the nutella oat latte iced and a strawberry matcha pastry (which was delicious). Our pastry's came out pretty quickly, however I waited about 15 minutes and no latte came. I assumed they were busy, but went to check on it and it was accidently served to the wrong person. The staff quickly made me another fresh latte and offered a free pastry to go for the mix up.

My friend and I were visiting from out-of-town and she had a great experience here so we came back the next morning for breakfast. The place was chaotic - we stood behind some folks in a line for a while until I realized they were just waiting for their orders. By that time the actual line had grown. We each placed our orders and waited. We realized there was no way we were getting a table, so made our orders "to go".At one point I heard my name called out but could not spot where to pick up the order - I asked the person handing out the coffees but she was too busy. A guy who looked like a manager walked by and asked what was wrong. I told him I wasn't sure where to get my order, but he kept walking. Finally, my friend's name was called from the side counter labeled as Takeout Orders and a guy gave her her order, so I asked him if mine was ready. He asked my name and seemed confused and handed me a bag. We got back to our hotel and it was the WRONG order. I had to go all the way back and the woman behind that counter immediately knew and said "sorry, sorry" and handed me the right order. The manager looking guy was there too observing it all.The food was fine but I was so flustered by the whole experience that it overshadowed everything.

Love the vibe and how cute this cafe was. Stopped by for a quick breakfast. Was a bit hard to find open seats and we had to squish into a tight table. The food came pretty quickly and service was friendly.Drinks: Iced Americano and Banana fosters latte.Iced Americano was standard. Not too acidic which was good. The latte was a bit overwhelming with the amount of caramel which really drowned out the banana fosters flavor.Food: Acai bowl and biscuit sandwich. Acai bowl was a little more watery than I prefer. Though I did enjoy the toppings especially the granola. Biscuit sandwich had ham, egg, and cheese. Was tasty but had to be eaten with a knife and fork otherwise would be quite messy and fall apart.

First off, this was such a cute cafe inside. It was packed so a little hard to find seating but it was so well decorated. All the pastries looked so good we couldn't decide. The coffee itself was pretty average. We got a few drinks and I didn't think any of them really stood out to me. The cruffin had an excellent flavor with raspberry and pistachio! It was a little difficult to eat but great taste and baked to perfection with a light crunch!

Goddess and the Baker Bakery (Location: Millennium Park- 33 Wabash) is a delightful upbeat bustling place to have light breakfast, quality snack, lunch or goodie. The vibe in here is fun and casual. Service is excellent.Try their signature "Cruffin" or any of their huge variety of breakfast treats! They are all top drawer baked fresh and wholesome. The warmed blueberry muffin I had was full of premium large soft berries. The batter was deliciously moist and dense. Decorated cookies, brownies, cakes, cake slices and croissants. They have a variety of it all for everyone. The coffee was brewed fresh, hot and had no bitter aftertaste.Don't settle for the mundane breakfast, cup of coffee or old treat at the other places. This place doesn't disappoint as baked goods ARE fit for a Goddess as the name implies!
