Goddess and Grocer

I love their veggie breakfast burrito for breakfast and for lunch I love their ham and cheese sandwich.The breakfast will keep you full for the majority of the day!

I came in on a Sunday afternoon, and I was able to get my order placed and prepared immediately (compare to colombe across the street with a line wrapped around the block). The service is friendly and the seasonal blueberry syrup in the drink was good, but giving 4 stars because the matcha flavor was meh and the drink was $10!

This is a great place to pick up something quick to eat! They have various grab & go items as well as a full menu that is made-to-order. There are only about 2-4 chairs on the inside & can be very crammed if it is busy, so it's best to plan on taking your food to go. I got the goddess breakfast burrito & it was sooo good! Not only did it taste great, it was HUGE!! Only $10 and filled me up for breakfast & lunch. I would definitely go back to try other menu items or pick up something premade if I was in a rush.

When ambient outside air temperature hits a staggering -12° and you don't want to do anything but veg out on Netflix in your den, food takes a backseat to comfort!This was our dilemma for lunch today. This meal, was (way) more about convenience and utility than anything else.Having Goddess and Grocer Deli minutes from our door step was a "No Brainer" in terms of time and accessibility. This weather for a California boy is a bit alien and I can't say I like it to much.So, I sat down at my laptop, logged into my local Goddess and Grocer and ordered myself a: *California Dreaming sandwich with house roasted turkey breast, Swiss cheese, avocado, tomato, arugula, lemon herb aioli, multigrain breadand my wife a:*Miso Chicken Salad with chicken, rice vermicelli, spicy broccoli, snow peas, carrots, Napa cabbage, kale, cilantro, mint, pickled red onions,miso honey vinaigretteI put my thermal undershirt on, my turtleneck on, my warm socks, my warm parka, my gloves and muffler, and walked the two blocks in Antarctic conditions. There was not a soul on the streets walking and I totally understand why!Goddess Grocer had our lunch prepared right on time and packed perfectly for my short walk back home.We unwrapped this pretty damn good lunch, paid our $5.99 to watch Oppenheimer (The Movie) and hunkered in like any sane person would do under these conditions.Thank you Goddess Grocer for making this day nice and easy!

I went around noon on a Sunday and waited almost 30 minutes for my sandwich. It was okay, but the rose lychee matcha latte I got along with it was life changing. So good. I was in Chicago for a trip but wish I was back there just for that drink. Definitely on the sweeter side, but it was so good!!! My friend also got the hazelnut halva truffle latte, which she liked as well (not as good as the matcha though). I went back just for the drink the next day!

Delivery was excellent, but I do regret getting the Turkey, Apple and Brie sandwich. The pretzel bun was way too big, it didn't come hot, it got sticky because of the jam and even though I love Brie, it just wasn't working for me. The herbed tomato bisque was delicious, though.

I love this location of Goddess and Grocer. It's tiny, but it is super cute and has all the important essentials of wine and snacks. The prepared foods and salads are always hearty and reasonably priced. The sandwiches are some of my favorite in the city, especially the Italian slam. The service has always been super friendly when I've been there.

I have tried my absolutely hardest to like this place as the area is lacking in sandwich/breakfast places, but I have never enjoyed my meal from here. While the inside is charming and the concept is great, the food just isn't that good.This time around I decided to try the Buffalo Chicken Wrap. The tomatoes were mushy. The lettuce didn't seem very fresh. The flavors muddled together. And it was wrapped very poorly.

Grab and go type of place. Super tiny with very limited seating - like 3 chairs. The Maple Bacon egg sandwich is bomb and is the only item I have tried here - like 10 times LOL. Check out the breakfast sandwich.

I love their salad bar and go there multiple times a week, however, it is very inconsistent. Some days 25% of the veggies are missing or the brussel sprouts are not cooked enough.
