Glow Martini Lounge

First time here, and came on a recommendation from a buddy. Ever since the Martini Bar closed up in downtown Kent, haven't seen another one close, however, Bonney Lake isn't too far from Covington. Came by for a couple of drinks, and we did just that. I ordered the Hefe, which was pretty decent and up my alley. I didn't want anything too sweet, so for the second drink I went with the traditional Old Fashioned. I base my drink reviews against what I can make at home and do my comparison. If it blows my recipe out of the water, then great!! Awesomeness. If not, I'm usually a tad bit disappointed as I'm only a novice and not a mixologist. With that said, The Old Fashioned was pretty good, but nothing I'd run out and tell friends about. I was really hoping it would compare more to my old haunts, but not really my thing. My bud says I'm wrong and that I need to give it another shot... and I'm sure I will. Until then, only giving this a . Hope to be proven wrong at a later date, but until then, enjoy and Glow like the Star YOU are!

Drinks were great - the best Negroni that I've had. The food (ceviche, flat bread, lettuce wraps) was disappointing. The ceviche was bay shrimp served with Tostitos chips and the guacamole was brown. The flat bread was burnt and lacked flavor (mushroom with chicken). The lettuce wraps were about 400% of your sodium for the day. We ate three out of the seven wraps and the server didn't ask if we enjoyed it. I also had to walk up to the bar to get another drink when I specially asked our server for another round. To put this into perspective, we were the only open table in the place - three people at the bar. Again, the drinks were on point. I suggest this place as a night cap, not a place to dine.

Ask for the secret menu item - Chocolate Martini.I guarantee you will be amazed! I have always been happy stopping by this establishment and I am happy to see them thriving in Bonney Lake!

Always the best experience with craft cocktails and friendly service. The atmosphere is amazing and the waitstaff love their jobs.

Glow was definitely a vibe! Bartender Camera was the main event honestly as he kept making me drinks that were not on the menu. For example, he made me an old fashioned with "bacon fat wash" which was phenomenal! Then he made me another old fashioned which was smoked which comes with beauty and the beast enchanted rose glass covering keeping the smoke within. I end the final drink with a "black manhattan" which were not on the menu! All the drinks were worth every penny and Cameron deserves all the tips in the World. He was dope!

Great service and ambiance. We had the salmon dip which was ok and a charcuterie board.

I've been here many many times, and while the food and drink is always great, the service has always been lacking. Normally served by a wait staff that seems like they hate everyone, with no smiles and no personalities like you're bothering them by asking them to serve you. I actually stopped coming for a while because of the service. I was pleasantly surprised going in tonight by a new server named Hannah. Smiling! Friendly! Helpful! What a different experience when you pair great food and drinks with great service. The bartenders are all top-notch and also deserve a better wait staff to highlight their creations. Now I want to come back after having a great experience!This place has a great vibe and menu and is like no other bar in Bonney Lake. More servers like Hannah and this place could be packed seven days a week. Note: you must try the brisket nachos.

During my recent visit to Glow on July 20th, 2023, I was accompanied by five friends for an early dinner at 6:00 PM. The restaurant was bustling, with every inside table occupied, and it was evident that the staff was stretched thin, comprising only one server and one woman responsible for clearing tables, but not taking orders.When we expressed our desire to place our food order, the woman informed us that she would send the server our way. She acknowledged the extended wait times, attributing them to an unusually busy Thursday evening and assured us that they were doing their best. We empathized with the overwhelmed server, who valiantly juggled our drink orders alongside the demands of taking food requests.However, patience was put to the test as we endured prolonged waiting periods for drinks, appetizers, and food. For one unfortunate individual, it took over 30 minutes to receive a simple drink. While the libations were indeed enjoyable, the culinary offerings left much to be desired, merely registering as mediocre and lacking any noteworthy distinction.As our meal drew to a close, the server questioned whether we had any further orders. One friend inquired about the waiting time for an additional drink and hesitated if it would be another lengthy interval. Eventually, the order was placed, but our conversation revolved around the restaurant's evident understaffing issue and its incongruence with the hefty price tag attached to the dining experience. It became clear that if this standard persisted, we might seek alternatives in the future.Unbeknownst to us, the woman clearing tables was none other than Kendra, one of the owners. She approached us after we settled our bills and reiterated the challenges of dealing with the substantial crowd that evening. She inquired about the individual who expressed their intention to explore other options in the future, only to find that person absent due to a bathroom break.Kendra conveyed her concern that such comments could impact the morale of her staff, asserting that they were doing their utmost in the trying circumstances and asked us not to return. However, I must assert that our remarks were delivered with factual candor, devoid of any profanity or offensive language, merely expressing our intention to make informed dining choices based on our experience that night.In fairness, our server demonstrated patience and adeptly managed the complexities of dividing the bill as per our request. Given the apparent lack of additional staff, we recognized his commendable effort in coping with the multitude of tables he served.Yet, it remains evident that the owner's responsibility lies in ensuring appropriate staffing levels, which regrettably fell short on this occasion, impacting the overall service quality.Having been patrons of Glow on numerous occasions, hosting significant work celebrations with substantial financial contributions, it is with an air of certainty that I declare our decision not to return to the establishment under its present circumstances.

Food- 10/10Service - 9/10 Ambience -10/10 Great place for a Friday post work drinks. The place was noisy and crowded but the drinks were a hit. Try the chili peach martini. The Portion sizes of the appys were good enough for 4-6 ppl. Great place for a girls night out.

Fun and swanky place with great food! Service can be hit and miss, but usually it's good. Often times it's very busy which is when things can get slow. The drinks are great and often have a unique twist. The bar tenders are experienced and know how to make a lot of drinks. Prices are a bit higher than other places, but it's a more upper-class style and on par for attracting that type of crowd. The food, small plates and desserts, are really good. I've had a few of both when I've gone. Portions are perfect for sharing. It's a perfect place for a date or meeting a very small group. I wouldn't recommend it for large group gathering. There is one area that can hold a larger group, but it's not good if you want to order food since there isn't a good table set up in that area. Definitely worth a try if you haven't been!
