Global Tacos Grill

Had tacos from this food truck for the 2nd Tuesday in a row... at Second Chance in CMR. So so good! I tried the shrimp and the tri-tip last week, and this week went with the cauliflower and chicken. Amazing! Hoping to make it a Tuesday habit- and the homemade hot sauce is very flavorful/delicious as well. Highly recommend.

Global Tacos catered our micro wedding at our house and I can't say enough good things about the entire experience, form the detailed communication, the site visit, helping with a plan, the service, and last but not least the food! All of our guests gave feedback at how good the food was, the ceviche started the night off, we had 3 different custom tacos, and the grilled pineapple was also a hit. I highly recommend Global Tacos Grill for any event.

Can I leave more than 5 stars? Global Tacos slays the game. Mike & his team catered our wedding a few days ago in northern Escondido at my parents' home - (Covid bride & groom over here!) - and they were INCREDIBLE. I cannot speak highly enough of their professionalism and how DELICIOUS the tacos were. Mike even made sure that myself and the groom had plates served to us right away at our table, so that we could actually get to enjoy some of it. (as I'm sure anyone who has had a wedding knows, it's hard to actually find time to sit down and eat anything!)And our guests of about 100 couldn't get enough of it. Well, they literally could get enough - they just loved it so much! We had three different tacos, a couple sides, and appetizers beforehand. We had zero complaints, only everyone singing praise for how good the food was. The Global Tacos team went ABOVE & BEYOND to be accommodating in our situation - including fluctuating guests, coming out to our "venue" beforehand at our request to make sure their equipment could be fitted properly, working in a tight area, etc. I cannot recommend them enough. From weddings to parties to having a great taco night home - HIRE GLOBAL TACOS GRILL! Drink & be merry. They have our stamp of approval

I don't know what Jennifer S. is talking about. This place was freaking awesome! I would recommend to anyone.Edit: I had to figure out why she complained. Look at her Yelp reviews. She gives 1 star to pretty much every restaurant she's been to. Apparently her taste buds are dead.

Had Mike and Global Tacos cater for my son's "sweet 16" birthday party and they absolutely delivered! They showed up early, were incredibly professional, kept tacos coming, but also prepared them as people wanted them to keep them warm and fresh. I didn't at all feel like they were rushed to leave and they wanted to make sure everyone was happy. I heard at least 10 people say these were the best tacos they have ever had. Would highly recommend them to anyone. Not sure what the crazy lady was talking about who claims to not have had a good experience. Must be a fake review from a competitor or something bc these guys and their tacos were amazing!

We had Global tacos at the Socal Tacofest. I got the Hawaiian style chicken and a shrimp taco. I liked the Hawaiian chicken taco better but both were great. The festival was very busy and the staff who worked the event were efficient and friendly.

The best tacos we have ever eaten. They are so unique and delicious, you will love them. Mike is a wonderful chef and owner of Global Tacos Grill. We had a party with 65 people and everyone kept going back to eat more tacos! Mike is easy to work with and very professional. We already booked him for next year's party!!!

We were so happy Global Taco Grill catered our baby shower! Mike and Victor were very courteous and friendly. They were able to set up and clean up quickly. Everyone made comments about how the tacos and churros were AMAZING!

I highly recommend Global Tacos! The tacos were delicious, unique and really showcased the tastes of San Diego. We had a big east coast crowd and wanted to really impress them with something they've never had before. Mike (the owner) and his chefs did that! Lower than 0 stars. It's 1100am 10/9/21. I Showed up ready to order. Handled it with ease even tipped just because I was in the mood. Then I wasn't offered a receipt. Then two other people were after me. Here's the kicker these people are terrible at their job. No ounce of customer service and no service with any smile. Disorganized and for sure RACIST WHITE PEOPLE AT THIS PLACE DURING THE ART AND WINE FESTIVAL IN DOWNTOWN LA JOLLA. Everyone was getting their order in the correct order. Then I noticed They served two white people before me who was after me and I thought that's ok then I noticed the older white lady who was after them was served before me and I politely said did you guys forgot my order. They totally didn't know where I came from. It was total chaos they all didn't know what I ordered (white male and white females) so I had to wait after those people got served. Finally they got my order the girl serving the toppings didn't even look at me. No one said my order was ready they just plopped it on the table no words. No service with a smile no apologize or anything. I hope your restaurant closes and you all struggle to make ends meet. Maybe next time you'll think about DOING BETTER and being ACTUAL BETTER DECENT HUMAN BEINGS. Don't go to this place unless you follow the if it ain't WHITE IT AINT RIGHT MOTTO THESE PEOPLE FOLLOW.It's better to go to Teifs Pacific Island and grill and that's vegan tent at the art and wine festival cause they serve you a big amount for a good price instead of two little tacos for $10 with poor service and racist people and at least at Teifs you actually get service with a smile and served by great people. Below are the pictures of the people involved especially the one looking at the camera who doesn't care, the cash register lady who will forget what you ordered unless you are white, the cook who won't cook your order, and the others who are lost in what to do unless you fit the right bill. Watch out for all of them.
