Glendale Sala Thai

Such tasty food! This is a hidden gem in Glendale. It may look like any other strip mall Thai place, but it is special. Small enough for a romantic date, big enough to bring a group of friends or the dhole family. Try the chicken satay, curry, and coconut ice cream for dessert.

Tasty ThaiThis was my first visit to Glendale Sala Thai and it was jfantastic. Sala Thai offers a great selection of Thai entrees, their will be something to satisfy everyone's appetite.On this visit we shared Pad See Ew, Pad Thai, egg rolls, and crab ragoons, and everything was excellent! These dishes were loaded with real authentic Thai flavors. I ordered level 1 and it was perfect amount of heat. So much flavor in these dishes. The egg rolls and crab ragoons were the best, crispy, tasty, and served hot.Reasonably priced; highly recommend! Glad we found this local spot with great customer servicqe.

Came here as a recommendation from a friend after the Maricopa Home Show at State Farm Stadium for lunch. We were immediately greeted by a nice lady that sat our group. It's a small store front that is nicely decorated and clean. I opted for the Thai Tea and Pad Kee Mow w/Tofu (Drunken Noodles) level 5 (their scale is 1-5 (spicy). The food was prepared very quickly and good size portion. While everything tasted good, I will admit that it's not a 5 (extra spicy) for me. It was more like a 2, but that's just me. The brought the spice caddy, which is good. I would definitely come back whenever in the area.

Food was tasty, the staff were friendly and knowledgeable. I very much enjoyed the fried fish salad and the tom kha.

Just experienced Sala Thai for the first time and was blown away! Prompt service and the vegan fried rice was delicious--reminded me of LA. A must-try for authentic Thai flavors!

First time trying Thai food and I was not disappointed! Came on a lunch date with my girls and we all enjoyed the food very much. We had the Spicy fried rice with shrimp super delicious and the Chow mein with beef very delicious as well. Cute little restaurant with great food!

Very good food. Only reason it didn't get 5 stars was because I couldn't get through on the phone or order online to place my order, so we had to drive there to order takeout. But I highly recommend the food. We tried several things, and everything was cooked at the spice level we specified and was very tasty.

First let me start by saying, the waitress (owner maybe?) was phenomenal, so sweet and understanding when I asked if we could change the spice level to a 1 or 2 because level 4 was too spicy for me. Second, some of the best Thai food I've had in quite some time, perfect flavor and everything was so fresh! As far as the ambiance, 10 out of 10, classic rock playing overhead, dining area was perfect temperature for enjoying my meal, very clean and very comfortable. I also appreciated that I didn't feel rushed. I will definitely be back again in the future to try something new!

The food was a 10/10. We got the red curry with chicken spice level 5. Highly recommended if you love spicy food and if you can handle it. We also go the papaya salad level 5, it was perfect. Again recommend but it burns your mouth. The service was really good and quick.
