We have been to about 60 wineries at this point and this goes down as one of the best designs (especially for a small indoor setting). Many wineries have a theme that they half hardily lean into by having similar wine names, glacier really works their theme (hiking/backpacking) well to a quite impressive degree. While they have the typical theme ideas such as wine names and pictures matching their theme, they also have their entire design to match: they have a gorgeous hand crafted wood and polymer table with well lit rocks below, geo maps as an accent wallpaper, mountain distance signs, and coolest of all backpacking meal wine pairing suggestions. I think atmosphere makes a big difference when enjoying wine which is why I am emphasizing their attention to goof design and theme. The wine itself had a good nose to it with floral fresh and fruity smell that was reminiscent of the trails on their bottle. While I was not drinking that day, those who were seemed to really enjoy it. If you are into hiking (and let's face it, aren't we all), and enjoy a good wine for your trip, this is the place to get it.

I love small wineries that have a personality. The tasting room was well thought out and cute - totally PNW inspired. It was also a very welcoming, laid-back atmosphere. You can tell the winemaker loves what she does and where her passions lie. Best part- we got to play a blind tasting game with the winemaker- so fun! Our favorites were the port-style and Nepeequa Valley blend.

Love this tasting room! It just opened in Artisan Hill right next to Callan. Glacier View combines two of my favorite things wine and the outdoors (it's hiking themed). The owner is super friendly, really knows wine and gave us some awesome hiking trail recommendations. And the wine! I'm a big red fan and her Cab was excellent but I went home with a bottle of Gruner, it's perfect for sunny days!

Awesome, non-pretentious tasting room where all "dirt bags" are welcome to their wine and adventure-forward ambiance. Loved the wine, and highly recommend!

Great wines and friendly service! My friend and I made a reservation in advance and had a private table in the back area since they didn't have any outdoor seating. We felt very comfortable with the precautions they took for COVID. The wines were quite good. Definitely try the port. It's delicious!

This is the first wine club I'm a member of and I am so glad I found this hidden gem. The story of the winemaker is pretty cool and I just so happened to be there my first time when she popped by. I joined a wine club AND met the winemaker?!?! I was beyond excited and pretty dorky about it. The winemaker is an avid hiker and her tasting room is designed with that vibe. One wall is a topographical map (the right description?) and another big map with highlighted areas on wine regions in WA. Her wines are named after hikes she's done (yes, she's hiked Mailbox ;) and wine club members are called "dirtbags." I'm sorry, what's not to love? They have a bar type seating in the front room and there's a small cozy nook in the back with seating as well. I've only sat up front. It's a small space, but it feels more intimate. There are no fees to join and they don't make you purchase their release - well, they had a new release within the last month or two and I didn't need to purchase it. But when the new release comes out in the Spring, I will get my first release of six wines! There's an option for 12 too. You get discounts on wines and tasting and since I joined I brought my sister in and she's going to join as well. The wine - now I'm not a wine connoisseur and I prefer reds, but everything I've tasted so far O Iike. I am not a rosé person, but OMG SO GOOD! I'm converted there for sure. I think you need to see for yourself cause my descriptions won't do them justice. Go and visit! I like to go on Saturdays because I love the staff that works there on that day. They're open Saturday and Sundays. Check them out!
