Food quality and taste are very different now.Orders:-Sushi & Sashimi combo basically is a repeat of the same type of fish in sushi n sashimi. How boring.... The fish quality is not awesome in the first place. Now, it took a deep dive. There is no fresh seafood flavor in them. -Deluxe Sushi Combo fish quality is same as above. Especially, the eel sushi contains so much small bones. I choked on it once and thinking should I spill out the whole thing; awful, or trying to spill out the bones only. Omg.... How awkward and awful to experience...-Deep fried oysters are my go to whenever I come here. I returned the same dish to them last time because of foul oysters. I was thinking oh well once in a blue moon type of situation. I ordered it again. The oyster is not foul but not fresh either. It's just not good eats. -Extra ginger and wasabi costs additional $1.50 when seeing the bill.-It's nice to have a small parking lot in Old Bellevue area.-Service is jiffy and staff are very busy trying to care for all tables. -If you speak/understand Cantonese, this is a cozy place to dine and entertainment among this traditional complex dialect. People in kitchen, counter, server and customers spoke alike. All in all, I lost another casual sushi place as far as food taste and quality in my book in the area.

Yummmm yummm!Ginza is that OG that needs no introduction but since it's been a while, I'll do it! Pumpkin fried rice is what they are known for. But the chirashi bowl, the sushi! The sashimi's, the katsu. Sit at the sushi counter and have the chef pick things for you. Even better. Miso butter fish, sunomono, katsu! And beautiful nigiri. Service is beyond friendly. Place is always packed! They have daily specials too. Plus, any restaurant that's been in Bellevue downtown, stood through Covid and still thriving is a must in my book.Love their daily specials too. It's only on their board by the entrance so you'll have to go in for it. Takeout takes about 30 minutes during dinner, same for dine in. But if you dine solo, sushi counter seats are the best! Small, intimate and all the chef action!

It's not what it used to be. Stopped going after our last visit. Sushi chef served us a piece of tuna belly, stringy and grossly overpriced.

After the Kraken game me & my buddy decided sushi was on the menu for dinner tonight. So we drove to his favorite place GINZA. We arrived at this boutique looking building where we parked. Since he called in forReservations on the way we were greeted and shuffled to the sushi counter right away with zero wait. Now since my buddy was a regular we were greeted with smiles & high fives from the gentlemen with sushi bladed behind the counter. At this point the knifes began carving and sushi began to flow instantly. As the sushi hit our plates some to my enjoyment but 100% to his. My order consisted of ordering a few pieces of tako ( octopus ) and a CRUNCH roll plus teriyaki steak. All to my delight I chowed down with a big smile. My friend ate some sushi i'd never consider shoving into my mouth but he loved it.A most enjoyable experience and I'd dine again without hesitation. I hope you show up & show out soon.

Very cute place! This is definitely a great place for Japanese food if you have a craving for sushi ! Their pumpkin fried rice is to die for! The prices are reasonable and they give you big portions! I had the Yaki Udon, it came with a miso soup and the flavor of the Udon was fantastic! My husband had the Chicken Katsu, it was a huge portion and the finely shredded cabbage was very tasty! The service was very good too! At the end they gave a small fruit plate covered with some crushed ice, which was very refreshing! I definitely would go back and try other entrees!

Ginza will be a new go-to for me for great sushi. Can't believe it took me this long to check this place out: the restaurant has that small and homey ambiance and the seafood was super fresh. Because it is small, however, I noticed there was quite a wait about an hour into dinner service. The host did say there was an hour and ten minute limit per table though to help with the flow. Small parking lot in front of the restaurant.As for foodChef's selection of sushi and sashimi: thick cuts of fish, very tasty. Comes with rice, soup, and pickled vegetables Uni sushi: was the day's special so I couldn't resist. So creamy and goodAgedashi tofu: worth getting. Softly fried and the yuzu was a nice touchSpicy tuna roll: simple but good

Wonderful dining experience, made the long wait worth it. The small staff were a bit slow to clear out tables which contributed to the wait time. They use a pen and paper waitlist. The waiting area is small, so you would likely need to wait outside.We ordered a sashimi platter, pumpkin fried rice, nabeyaki udon, and tonkatsu. Everything was very high quality, authentic, and delicious. After ordering, the food came out fast. Note: They do not take reservations for parties of 2. Come close to opening for a shorter wait. Otherwise, I would recommend making reservations.There is parking in a small garage but it is shared with other businesses and could be filled during busy hours.

Love this place! Great service, quality food, and the restaurant is clean and comfortable. Highly recommend this place if you want some good Japanese food!

I came in on a Sunday night and it was busy. The restaurant has a strong yummy smell that makes you hungry! They don't seat your group unless your entire party was here so I waited for my friend to arrive and we were seated shortly after. I ordered the tiger tail roll and it was good. I normally don't order rolls with shrimp but it was decent. My friend liked her order too. They gave us complimentary fruit for dessert. I'll be back to try their other dishes like the pumpkin fried rice.
