Gikan Teriyaki # 7

This is the best teriyaki place around. I never had a bad meal and we order a lot from them. Very friendly owners. They will remember your name and make sure you got everything you need for a wonderful experience. Their spicy chicken teriyaki is amazing and so are house fried rice and yakisoba. Good price too. I would definitely recommend this place.

So far I give them 1 star. I looked at the menu online and I know if that established a change however I did not realize it would be $20 difference! I got there to pick up the food and that's when I realized that the total was different from what I thought it was going to be. And then the lady looked disgusted when I didn't tip her! Geez my bill was almost $50 that should be enough!! I tip on service not on principal!!

Please note- food was old from yesterday etc.I will never go here again- service was ok at best- Food sucks- example- beef had discoloring all over it.Portions were small and I actually had to throw away the Mongolian beef due to discoloring and poor taste- food was expired and they continued to use. Please do yourself a favor and go someplace else. Value if the food was good- none - small portions for 10-11 bucks you - please note no value here-GO SOMEPLACE ELSE-

Horrible. I dare you to order the Mongolian beef, I seriously dare you! I imagine someone described the dishes to the cook and the result is their best guess at what they thought they heard. Ever see someone screw up tempura shrimp? Well you're in luck. The way they fry the bejesus out of the shrimp will convince you they hate shrimp. This is the sharknado of teriyaki restaurants; so bad I want to go back and see what other dishes they can destroy.

I've been here multiple times now. Tried Chicken Katsu, orange chicken and chicken teriyaki so far. Everything was delicious 5/5!! The owners were super nice as well.

Okay I don't do this often! But I tried this place on a whim and was not disappointed! Yes is it a hole in the wall? Yes!! Is it the cleanest? No! But after eating street food in New York I am not afraid! And most of the time the food is best in these not so clean hole in the walls! Did this place go into a clean plate club? Yes absolutely! The chicken was done perfectly! The gyoza was crispy! And the rice was so supple and fresh!

Good food. Wonderful staff/owners. Super friendly environment. Food was served in togo containers for dine in when appropriate. It was clearly as 2 person show, one in front of house and one in back cooking. Soup was spicy and flavorful. Spicy Chicken was not over cooked but well done if that makes sense. We enjoyed it.

This is our go-to Teriyaki in Edgewood!Order is always correct and seems like fresher ingredients than others around. Highly recommend!

I straight up found a push pin in my Kung POW chicken. This place should be shut down for something like this. That is beyond careless and I honestly have no idea as to how that could happen. I wouldn't eat here unless you want to take the chance on having something similar in your food.
