Delicious food and amazing, personalized service! Make sure to ask about their specials (they typically have a few each night). I've ordered the Campanelle alla Bolognese and Rigatoni alla Vodka. Both were solid and filling. On my third visit, I had Leo as our waiter, and he was fantastic. We had great conversation to end the night. Come to Gigi for the perfect date or meal with friends!

I was excited about this place because of the line and how busy it was. Very cute vibe inside and outdoor tables. The servers were kind and professional.Unfortunately, the food was bad. We ordered a bunch of food and here is what I can say about each dish:*Broccoli was ok *our white wine was served warm. Not cool. Not room temp. But like it had been sat next to an oven.*Arancini was over fried and sauce was flavorless*Lemon chicken was SO salty that it was inedible *Gnocchi sauce was so watered down that it kinda made the gnocchi flavorless as wellWe had originally planned on getting the tiramisu but the couple next to us had it and said "it was only ok".

I came for a late dinner and restaurant was not packed with most groups fishing up and leaving. Parking was still pretty bad with only street parking in the residential areas around which required a permit for some streets. I was well attended to. Staff were amazing and service was quick. 8.5/10 Rigatoni alla Vodka $26 - Pasta was slightly undercooked as the rigatoni was still a bit doughy and not al dente. The sauce was amazing in flavor, creamy, but not heavy at all and coated the pasta well. I let the pasta sit bit to keep cooking. I wish this option came with meat option.8/10 Brocollini $12 - Cooked perfectly. Well seasoned and charred topped with Parmesan. Portion is slightly underwhelming. 8/10 Cozze (mussels) $16 - Mussels were cooked well and came out hot and steaming. Quality was fresh and flavors were good. It was light and had a bit of sour from the juices which complimented the pasta.

A great place for a romantic, intimate date night or a girls night out. We started off with the Etna Manhattan and a glass of Pinot Grigio. Our server was attentive and both drinks came out promptly after ordering. For food, we had the Calamari Fritti and Cozze (mussels). Both were good and the calamari was particularly light and crisp, but the mussels were a standout. The kick of habanero in the white wine, tomato sauce made for the perfect dipping sauce with the accompanying bread. Our entrees took quite a while to come out, but were well worth the wait. The Rigatoni alla Vodka was perfectly al dente and creamy without being heavy, and the Risotto al Manzo was soft and wonderfully savory. For dessert, we ordered the tiramisu. Don't be fooled by the sloppy presentation. It was actually the best tasting tiramisu we've had in Boston! Sweet and saturated while maintaining an impressive structural integrity. Make sure to book a reservation (released two days in advance) as they're a small restaurant and fill up quickly. Can't wait to come back.

Wow I am obsessed! I was in Boston for a few days, visiting from New York, and I randomly stumbled across Gigi on Instagram. I'm so happy that I did because I loved it!! We made a reservation in advance but we ended up getting there half an hour early because the weather was terrible & ruined our plans lol. Once we got there we understandably had to wait but the servers were the BEST! They kept trending to us and the hostess even got us drinks from the bar. We ordered spritzes and they were delicious! We had to wait for almost 2 hours (couldn't really leave & come back because it was heavily down pouring) but the staff was so sweet and tried their best to accommodate everyone who came in because of the rain.Once we got seated, we ordered right away and literally everything was amazing! Our order: calamari, arancini, rigatoni alla vodka, campanelle alla boscaiola, espresso, tiramisu, & more spritzes The vibe is definitely intimate and cozy making it the perfect spot for a date or dinner with friends

Sorry yelpers but you all rated this one way too high. There's clearly a reason locals are not coming here. The food is mediocre at best. I had their deep fried rice ball dish that the server recommended. It was actually tasty. I love the fact that it was unique and interesting. It could have used a bit more seasoning inside the ball but overall these are nice and fun to eat. It tasted like if you were to deep fry risotto except that it's just plain rice with filling. The chef could have gone more creative here and put several versions of this on the menu. Maybe one with risotto or one with potato like a cuban style potato ball. Or maybe no carb just a meatball breaded and deep fried. The possibilities are endless.I was pretty hopeful that the next dish might be nice too. The server recommended pasta with vodka sauce. She said that was a popular dish. When it finally came I had to send it back because the pasta was undercooked and inedible. Second time it was cooked more but still not quite al dente. Also the vodka sauce touted as fabulous I wasn't all that impressed. It was very bland with no seasoning. In the end I really wanted to like this place but there are just way too many inconsistencies. You clearly have a chef that is too afraid to use seasoning and doesn't know how to cook pasta. Not good.

Perfect neighborhood Italian spot! I was in town only for the night and staying near Gigi, so sort of stumbled across it. I would be there a couple times a week if I lived in that neighborhood! Great food, service, and drinks!

Delicious Italian food and quality service in a cozy, Italian bistro-type establishment. We absolutely loved the veal Milanese, breaded, and pounded thin, with a lemony arugula salad on top of it; and also get the pasta with vodka sauce. Definitely try the prosciutto and melon as an appetizer! Overall, we couldn't ask for a much better experience in a casual, cute atmosphere.
