Amazing, much better than I expected. These guys actually know what they're doing. Thick, not too greasy, plenty of toppings, served hot and quick, and tasted really good. Similar to Round Table but about $10 less. Friendly people at the counter; you get the idea this is a family run business. I'm tempted to come there more often for that reason alone, but the pizza is the real star and yeah, it was worth it. My only gripe, and there's nothing they can do about it, is that several of the customers who were in there with me were severely entitled. One guy came in and used every passive aggressive move he could think of. "Okay, here we go. Pizza, right now. Oh boy. I can't wait to get it riiiiight now. Right this minute!" then he goes into coughing to get attention, clapping his hands and just carrying on like a child. Another guy had to be reminded that he just ordered it 10 minutes ago, pizzas take a little while to cook. They were real professional handling these guys, but people like that stick with you when you're writing a review.I feel bad for this business. They're going to have deal with people like a lot. I've lived in Rancho Bernardo since roughly '75 and we have a higher-than-average quotient of them, especially the last decade or so. Anyhow, that pizza... Yeah. I was impressed. I'm not an aficionado of what constitutes a genuine "New York" pizza nor do I care to research it, all I can do is trust my taste buds. These guys rock. Well done.

The Philly cheesesteak is good, I just wish it was more consistent but it's the go to when ordering. The onion rings are also decent. The desserts are tiny and not worth $5, but the people that own the place are very nice!

Had such a great experience here. The gentleman that helped out was really nice and welcoming and you can see he worked from the heart. The pizzas are really big and great for big parties. Everyone really enjoyed the varieties we ordered and had a few people ask where we got it from. Highly recommended keep up the great work

We were fortunate to come across Giant New York pizza. It's your quintessential family run pizza place. The owner and his mom make the pizza's themselves. We ordered a cheese slice and a meat lovers pizza. The crust was thin and crispy, delicious tang from the sauce and the toppings were perfect. No wonder this place has such a high rating. We don't live about 20 minutes away and will be making the trip back often. Highly recommend this restaurant.

I'm writing a review in hopes that this places stays in business after seeing two other pizza places in the same spot. This place is great! The pizza is surprisingly filling. There is a lot of cheese on it, so be warned if that's not your thing. The crust is nice and fluffy with a little crispness to the bottom. For getting a pizza with lots of meats it was not oily which I really appreciate. The staff is incredibly friendly and hospitable, more so than any other place I've been to in the area. It looks like it's family owned and they treat you like they've known you for forever even though it was my first time coming there, the familiarly was refreshing. Will 100% be coming back to this place and I'm happy we have such kind people running it.

Got a true Giant pizza today, menu says pizza is 27" across but seems bigger. Being originally from NY, can say this is legit pizza, very good tasting and a great value for the price....did I say how big it is .... Momma Mia - bring your truck, SUV or make sure trunk of car is empty!

I called ahead to order a 14" pepperoni pizza to go, and they let me know it would be ready in 15 minutes. However, once I got there about 15 minutes later, it still wasn't ready for another 10 minutes. The massive flat screen TV playing The Wizard of Oz in the dining room helped pass the time.The pizza had a terrible, almost cake-like, thick, spongy crust with no chew. While the tomato sauce, cheese, and pepperoni was acceptable, the poor quality crust made it nowhere near a good pizza, never mind a New York-style pizza, in my opinion.
