GG's to the rescue! I was feeling terrible this morning and my husband found GG's rotisserie chicken soup when looking for a place that would deliver it. It was one of the best chicken soups I've ever had in my life, including homemade ones. In fact, this one was most likely homemade, not only because of the quality of the shredded chicken, the perfectly cooked vegetables and rice, and the abundance of fresh dill, but also the broth. I only ate half to start, and when I took the leftovers out of the fridge for dinner tonight, the soup was a bit solid, making me suspect they either make their own stock or buy a high quality one. In any case, it was just what the doctor ordered. He also got me some sides, the Brussels sprouts and mashed potatoes. The sprouts were also outstanding, and the seasoning on them gave them a great tang. The mashed potatoes were a little too rich for me, but otherwise creamy and nice. I'd get GG's soup and Brussels sprouts again in a heartbeat, and based on reviews here I hope to make it for dine in sometime.

We ordered takeout so can't speak on the restaurant itself but everything arrived fresh and hot. We ordered a full chicken with sides - we choose the Mac n cheese, brussel sprouts, waffle fries and the rolls came with. The chicken was tasty, liked the spicy seasoning. We also enjoyed the Brussels and the waffle fries, would get both of those again. Only complaint - The waffle fries was a pretty small portion. The Mac was a bit disappointing, kinda KFC vibes but not bad, just prob wouldn't get it again. The rolls had tasty seasoning on top but the center was a bit bland and dry.Overall, would get the chicken, fries and Brussels again.

This place is SOOO good. Think of Popeyes fried chicken but crispier and juicier and overall just amazing. That's what this was. Definitely recommend making it spiced because, wow that flavor. The fries were so crispy. We got a side of the garlic ranch and it was delicious. The service was quick, food was delivered very quickly. Plenty of space inside with two big tables for bigger groups. Highly highly recommend this place. Definitely coming back for more chicken!

I did pickup from GGs. The online ordering system was pretty straightforward and the food was ready when promised. Didn't have much interaction with the staff but they did seem kind. The place was full as well with both dining in customers as well as takeout. I ordered their Whole Chicken. It came with three sides, two sauces and four dinner rolls. All for $37. A really good deal to feed a family of four. The chicken was perfectly good and had great seasoning. The chicken was tender and juicy. The dinner rolls were good, the smashed potatoes were really delicious as was their mac & cheese. We also ordered waffle fries and they were pretty good as well. I also got garlic ranch and chimichurri for sauces but they honestly didn't go that well with the chicken or any of the sides. I usually don't order rotisserie chicken when dining out, but if I'm ever craving any, I know where to go.

New favorite chicken sandwich! And Chicago has a lot of great options- but dang, this one takes the cake. Off the bat, the space is so cute. The design is retro with a fun diner feel. You place your order at the counter which works well because the menu is limited so there isn't much to mull over regardless. The staff working was so efficient and welcoming! I ordered the crispy fried chicken sandwich, complete with b&b pickles, cabbage, spicy mayo, and hot honey on a brioche bun. My husband got the ranchy chicken sandwich and we shared waffle fries, elotes, and Mac n cheese for sides. Our meal was delivered to our table in about 10 minutes, it was a quick turnaround. Everything was incredible. The flavors compliment each other so well, and the breading on the chicken had the perfect crunch. My favorite side was the Mac n cheese, but tbh all were five stars!! We loved GG's and can't wait to be back.

I placed an order for pick up and my order was ready without 20 min. I ordered the Mac n cheese, chicken soup and I got a dinner roll. The Mac n cheese was exactly what I was looking for. The chicken soup was delicious it wasn't your basic chicken soup it had so much flavor!! The only complaint I had was the dinner roll seem ed to be a little stale but other than that it was amazing

This place absolutely met the hype I was seeing on social media. It's everything you would want a chicken shop to be. We got:1. Whole Rotisserie Chicken 2. Waffle fries w/ GG's spice rub3. Crispy Brussel Spirits w/ chili lime salt4. Chicken drippings smashed potatoes5. Crispy fried chicken sandwich - bread&butter pickles, cabbage, spice honey, spicy mayo, brioche bun6. Chocolate dirt puddingChicken was tender in both dark and white meats. I would prefer crispier chicken sandwich but that's subjective. The chicken sandwich with its ingredients was top notch. In my opinion, perfect execution across all the sides we got especially the waffle fries. The crispiness and seasoning blend were perfect!Staff were very nice and helpful. Restaurant is a little small, including the tables so I don't recommend big groups for sit down experience.

I passed by one day and decided to try over the upcoming weekend. The reviews were pretty solid but I have to say I was underwhelmed with the main dish aka chicken. I ordered the half roasted chicken with 2 sides (Brussel Sprouts and Mac). I really wanted the smashed potatoes but they were sold out.The chicken for me was ok. I needed more flavor. It was super tender maybe almost too tender. My kid liked it but he also topped it in ketchup. The brussels were the best thing for me. As some others have commented for the pricing I just need more. The location was easy to find, clean and nice for small sit down. Maybe the chicken sandwich is their jam and I might go back for that and those potatoes. Overall solid 3.

GGs is fine, maybe even above average, but how expensive it is really pushes it down a rating for me. I got the fried chicken sandwich, it was good - came out hot and fresh, chicken quality was great - but it felt like it was missing something on the taste side and when it's that expensive it needed to be better. The waffle fries came out hot and fresh and seasoned - they were good, but again $5 was so much for the quantity , definitely a one person serving... I got a side of their BBQ sauce, VERY sweet, had a few dippings in it and had to stop. The garlic ranch was good but wouldn't specifically recommend getting it. I wouldn't be mad to go back if a friend wanted to go or something, but if I'm looking for a chicken sandwich I'd want to try somewhere new first.
