I live pretty close to Gerrys but more often than not, pick other cuisines over what they serve. Their food is decent...and are generally a good value. Their pizzas are on the higher end, but they do taste good. However, the gem is their dinner plates. I don't have a picture of it in this review, but one of my go-tos is their chicken finger plate. It definitely feeds at least 2 people...tons of wings, fries, and a couple of sides. Tonight, I'm showing you their onion rings and pastrami sub. The onion rings are the best in town! I don't like onions, but I can eat their onion rings. Batter is super crisp but not burnt. If you like BK onion rings, you'll like these even more! You order a large and they dump a lot inside a brown bag for you :)The pastrami sub was nothing to write home about. I got it with free toppings like lettuce, tomato and pickles. I think it had cheese...but wasn't cheesy enough for me to remember it. You can pay more for extra cheese.

I have been a customer of Gerry's for over 30 years! The OG Gerry's was amazing and dependable delicious Italian food. I have tried to hang in with the new owners but I just cannot anymore! They constantly get orders wrong and the food is just awful and awfully expensive for sub-par food. You hear staff frequently talking about complaining customers--they should be listening and correcting! Last straw tonight--ordered a pizza and salad--$30!! Sausage and mushroom pizza--literally 6 pieces of sausage and a handful of mushrooms on a quarter of the pizza! Pizza crust overcooked--and tasteless. I threw half pizza away. Folks--DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY HERE! Go to Belmont Pizza where you will never be disappointed. F*&K this place! Never again. and they will not care!

I have been a customer for many years. This is one of the few places I get takeout from. I've never had a bad meal. Pizza is always great. Salads are amazing. Generous portions of pasta. Employees are always very friendly and smiling. I would recommend stopping in and trying any item.

We ordered takeout from here while at work and I must save the food was incredible. The Portion sizes are BEYOND generous for the price. The garlic bread, chicken broccoli Alfredo and the rolls are all to die for. Will definitely be ordering from here again

Called Marsalas Italian kitchen tonight in Waltham for my fave pasta dish offered by them, the "chicken abruzzo style pasta dish".. always stellar service , quality, taste from their food.. portions etc over in Waltham . The Guy who answered phone told me to call Gerry's Italian kitchen cuz Marsalas is no more.. so called & ordered the dish & below is what I received... chicken is minimal , cold & hard.. biggest fail is there's almost no sauce here (supposed to be a pink tomato/cream sauce) .. so dry.. even veggies were scarce.. upset/disappointed is an understatement .. Bring back Marsalas or at very least have the chef/cook from over there go show Gerry's place how to make it properly cuz this is no where near the great dish Marsalas consistently put out..! Terrible :/

Gerry's used to be one of my go to places for pizza. The recently changed owners or managers and the change has not been for the better. They skimp on the cheese even when ordered as extra cheese. The ingredients don't seem to be the same quality. Can't comment on the other items in the menu but right now I'm not ready to risk it.
