Great location for good bar food! Our server was very personable and attentive to our needs. She did not rush us, and she recommend great things one the menu. We started with the mozzarella sticks and fried cheese curds. They were great to start with. We all enjoyed different style burgers and the patty was cooked perfectly. Our beers stayed cold and we left with our belly's full! High recommend this location.

George's is always a fun place to stop in for a brew and burger when in the area. Our latest visit was no exception. This time, we both had grilled chicken sandwiches with our preferred toppings. I had a side of fries and my other half had the vegetable medley as a side. The service and food are good!

George's is known for their burgers and they have several sizes of burgers. They taste like a homemade grilled burger. George's is also a Runners hangout so the majority of the crowd is very fit.Tip 1: Issue is it closes too early.Tip 2: Where are you gonna get a fresh lamb burger at a dive bar? This southern restaurant serves soul food from the menu and buffet. It is delicious and comforting. You can dine in, take out or order through a food delivery service app. I recommend this nostalgic restaurant.

George's seems like a roadside, small town dive. Their menu is pretty simple, mostly burgers, wings, fries, salad and soup; the staff is very nice. Their standard 1/4 lb burger with lettuce, tomato, onions and fries is $9, cheese is extra. It's rare to find something on a menu for less than $12 in Atlanta in 2022 but here it is! Now, I will say if you're in the mood for an affordable tasty burger you probably should not come here on Tuesdays because The Highland Tap across the street does a $6 Steakburger. But any other day, definitely worth the trip to George's!

Is it four star cuisine? No. BUT it is some really good, quality bar food in the most chill place in the Highlands. Reasonably priced drinks and the best tots in town. Ask for the Fried Chicken Salad Buffalo Style. This is a far better place to hang and people watch than some other places on the block. We love George's...the people, the food, the whole deal. Support local, grab a burger, or some tots and you won't be disappointed.

If you are looking for a good time to catch a game with some good classic burger, try George's. SO GOOD! My partner and I ordered the Jalapeño dijon burger and the Bbq bacon and cheddar burger (we love to go half/half) with onion rings and french fries. They were the perfect combo!! Both were chunky juicy burgers with medium cooked patties just the way we wanted. Jalapeño definitely has a kick which I personally love. If you love bbq sauce, you would like the bbq bacon and cheddar - it did not disappoint! Our server was bery nice and overall the restaurant was a good noise level so you don't have to yell across the table. Definitely will go back.

The service was excellent on the evening of 6/28/24 for our party of 4. Fortunate it was cool enough around 6:30 pm to dine outside and enjoy people watching! I had a a 1/4 lb. cheeseburger with fries, very good. Next time I'll order the tater tots though. But the very best was the black bean soup. Actually I'll only order a bowl of the soup!
