No reservations required, we walked in for a brunch and were seated without any delays. Server was accommodating and attentive. It's a less noisy place for meal with family. Tables are placed a bit too close for my comfort. I had to be careful while pulling my chair to get in or out. Food:We ordered Garden scramble, Beach-walker omelet, vegetarian omelet, fried chicken waffles, spaghetti for kids, fries and drinks. Good : fries, garden scramble were good Ok: waffles, omelet were okBad: hash in both omelet were cooked with old/stale oil had bad taste, we didn't touch it! Toast for all orders were soggy. I'll probably try other place in the area before coming to this place again.

Had a delightful breakfast experience at George's in Kirkland! Biscuits and gravy with eggs and hashbrowns is a classic choice, hearty and satisfying. It's always a tough decision when you're faced with a menu full of tempting options.

I came here on a Thursday just before 9am. It's loud and there was Katie Perry music playing. The person seating us just handed us menus and pointed to the booth we should go to. I don't think he spoke English because he brought me the wrong drink and couldn't understand what I was saying. Instead, he pointed a lot. The food was good, but expensive. Our server was friendly and the wait wasn't overly long. Altogether the experience wasn't worth going again.

Another three star review because Yelp won't let us add half stars or it would have been three and a half stars. Sigh. Anyway, back to the review. This place has been in business for a long time but somehow I never had the opportunity to actually go? The location is fantastic, smack in the middle of all that downtown Kirkland has to offer and you can't beat the window seats in a warm sunny day! The ambience is fine, nothing special but good enough for a casual meal. Friendly staff too! The food is fine but you can get better tasting food on the east side. I did enjoy the Greek pita (pictured) and would go back if I'm in the area but nothing really stood out to me as being particularly unique or special, so I don't plan on going back any time soon. I have heard the breakfasts are pretty good but I can't speak to it personally.

I came here with a friend hoping for the best brunch and time to catch up. The food was good, but the service was a little subpar. We ordered omelet and smoked salmon egg Benedict, and both were great. In particular, the hash brown was perfectly cooked. We got there around 11am on a Saturday and it wasn't too busy. We got a table after 10 minutes of wait and since we got there, there hasn't been a line. We got our food and were chatting while eating. After about 30min, the server started to ask us if we wanted a box to go, when we still had 80% of the food. I said we were still working on it but I was a little confused and thought maybe the place was getting busy. So I looked around but didn't see anyone waiting at the door and there were empty tables. Then after another 20-30min, the server just dropped off the check and walked away. We sensed that the server probably wanted us to leave, so we just left. If you are looking for good brunch, come here! But do eat fast though.

This is a pretty nice place for classic American breakfast! I ended up in the area for a Yelp Experience and decided to make a morning out of it and George's seemed like they'd be a great place for breakfast. I arrived around 9ish and they were at about half capacity so I was seated very quickly. I love biscuits and gravy but finding the vegetarian version can be a tall order so I definitely had to get it! It was one of those times I asked the sever a few follow up questions just to make sure that we're talking about the same thing when we say "vegetarian" he was happy to answer my questions and I was happy to have the biscuits! I also got a mimosa since it's the ultimate brunch drink. I watched my server make it and was pleasantly surprised! Most places it's a splash of champagne with OJ but here it was mostly champagne with a splash of OJ. Just my style! All in all a lovely breakfast. I personally like my hashbrowns a bit more on the crispy side, but they were still good and the biscuits and gravy were delightful! By the time I was leaving all of the tables were filled and the line was starting to work out the door, so this is definitely a popular spot!

Grabbed brunch with a girl friend here on a Sunday. The restaurant was busy, but we got seated within 10 minutes due to it being a small party. Our waiter was great, he discussed menu items with us and recommended the items he preferred most. I went with the Eggs Karkinagri- which was like a gyro and an eggs benedict had a baby -and it was delicious. The meat was tender, the sauce complemented it perfectly, and it was a great portion that left me satisfied yet not overly full. The restaurant was smaller than I had anticipated, so you are a bit crowded in with all the other patrons; however, if you don't mind that, it is a great place to stop for brunch in the area :)

Arrived for Sunday brunch and was pleasantly surprised to be seated very quickly in a comfy booth. A diner vibe with a full bar and extensive menu. A Greek touch and not your every day menu items was another bonus. I ordered the breakfast poutine. It was tasty and a good portion. Would love to go back to try more things. Service was efficient but nothing out of the ordinary. I imagine parking could be challenging on any day but Sunday.

What a lively place! We visited around 9am on a Sunday and we luckily got a table right away but there was quite a crowd waiting. Food was yummy- I got the eggs benedict and the hollandaise was delightful and the eggs were perfectly done. Service was veryyy slow. We had to flag down our waiter to take our order after having been sitting there for about 30mins. Overall, great food but slower service.

This place has the classic diner feel when you walk in, very classy aesthetic. There were people of all ages in this restaurant, very friendly vibe. My friends and I saw down in our chairs at our table and there wasn't much room between us and the table next to us so our chairs were a little squished. But there was a large group behind us. I will say, at our table, we only had 2 spoons to share as they forgot to give us a 3rd spoon. They immediately came over with water and we ordered coffee ASAP rocky as it was needed (cream and sugar were already at the table but they lacked brown sugar for their sugar choices but nevertheless coffee was still fabulous!)After ordering our food, the servers kept going around with coffee and asking us if we needed refills (fabulous!). Our food came within 15-20 minutes: my friends got the California Benedict and lumberjack plate and both looked absolutely delicious. I got the chicken and waffles that came with syrup AND HAD MORE SYRUP IN THE LITTLE CUP TO POUR ONTOP! I really appreciated that they gave you an extra portion of syrup (for my syrup lovers) and butter on the side. Overall, very great experience and the food was very delicious and reasonably priced. A couple drawbacks are that I feel the portions were a bit small for my taste and parking around the area, while not hard to find, but there is not much area to park in front of the restaurant. You'd have to find another area to park in (parallel parking), pay for parking, or park further away and take a nice walk to George's, which since it's near the waterfront is not a bad walk AT ALL in my book!
