George’s BLT

George's BLT is officially a new bar on our radar near home! We came after a nearby dinner as we've heard lots of good things about it, and I'm glad we did.Atmosphere was fairly more elevated than a dive bar, but the vibe was about the same. Definitely cleaner with a more modern space, but we loved the nods to dive bars like the colorful string lights and heavy pours. We only popped in for a drink but the food menu is solid. We'll definitely try some bites next time we are in. I was really surprised at their wine selection, as most bars like this only offer Sutter Home or boxed wine (I'm not hating, just stating the obvious) but they had fantastic local wines by the bottle. Service was super friendly and we never felt like we had to flag someone down to ask for another drink or menu. Can't wait to come back to try food!

Went here for the first time tonight for dinner. I love the kitschy atmosphere and the food was great! The booth we sat in was comfortable but the seat was not connected well so I almost fell out when I got up - but that could also be because of the excellent drinks! I had the Tittilator (so?) which was awesome, and the prime rib French dip with Caesar, plus the jojos with garlic dip. My husband had the nachos and jalapeño poppers and everything was delicious! Parking was a little tough, but accessible - one entrance in and out, located just next to the building. Definitely will go back!

Food is okay. It's not good, it's not terrible, it was edible but NOT worth the price we paid. Also the service was TERRIBLE. Our waitress essentially ignored us, and after asking for water 3 times I finally went up to the bar and ordered water there. (It was not crazy busy or in a rush at all). I will not be going back here and would recommend you save your money. Also, as an aside, the Jojos we got for appetizers were probably the best thing we ate (which isn't saying much) but they're insanely huge. It's roughly 4 jojos to 1 large russet potato which is kind of crazy. See photo.

The food was good! It wasn't very vegan friendly, but I didn't expect too much. The service was pretty quick; an hour total. The ambiance was nice, clean and well decorated. It was a good lunch.

We started with an order of "Fried Pickles with Secret Sauce" - we are pickle snobs and these were great by our standards! The special sauce had a little kick to it and it's delicious. We ordered the Paper Plane cocktail and a few Bodhizafa's - they were all delicious. Service is expectedly slightly delayed because they're technically not even open yet - but our server was friendly, kind, and honest about potential delays. Next, we ordered the burger (added bacon and cheese) and the Yuppie Salad. The best burger in Bonney Lake, honestly one of the best burgers ever! The salad was delicious and although I was a little surprised to spend $18 on a salad- the portion was HUGE and well worth the cost. The ambiance is fun, charming, and looks as good as a tavern from a movie. We're so happy Bonney Lake has upped its food/bar game in the last year!

Finally had the opportunity to try this place out. We went for lunch on Valentine's Day. We had to get a babysitter for the baby as it is 21 and over only. Good vibes, love the decor. I wonder what the place looked like prior to the renovation. They seem to have a some original parts but for the most part all looks pretty new and updated. The staff is friendly. We were greeted instantly upon entering . It's a seat yourself type of set up. They have a few booths and a couple of tables. You also have the option to sit at the bar. We opted for a booth. Our waitress was very attentive and friendly. We ordered the fish sandwich and the better blt. Both were delicious. I upgraded my fries to the truffle fries. I am a truffle fries snob and I must say theirs was pretty good. Overall, great place to go if you are looking for a date night or have a girls/guys night out minus the kiddos.

Went into George's Bonney Lake Tavern for lunch today to celebrate my wife's birthday. She wanted pizza..... we ordered pizza.I am so blown away that we now have another quality restaurant to count on for amazing pizza (Frankies had totally set the bar).It was so nice to sit in... and the service was amazing!Thank you George!

This place brings the hometown feel back to Bonney Lake!!! I've grown up in Bonney Lake my whole life and watching the cute tavern be built was suspenseful. So glad i got to finally go. The owner Shelly was so kind and involved I loved to see it. In addition, my food was DELISH!!! I had the fried mozzarella with a salad Shyah was also serving our table and had the biggest smile, she made our experience even better. 10/10 would go back, so worth the wait!!!

Comfy sports bar in Bonney Lake. Entertaining decor with lots of sports memorabilia and at least 12 screens, all seemed to be a different game. Don't know how they did that! Nice outdoor seating as well as inside. Service was friendly and prompt.Tried the fried pickles! Why not? Never had them before. Arrived crisp and HOT (let them cool a bit before you bite.) Tasty! I had the Chicken Caesar wrap which okay but a little dry. Fries were good because they were gone from both plates! Definitely would stop again.

Food is really good. The outdoor seating is not dedicated but impromptu and nice! (We are considering similar outdoor furniture at home!)The nachos are the bomb if you like spicy...spicy is the spice of life!The wait staff were attentive, friendly and checked on us just enough to make the visit pleasant!
