Super cool storefront hidden in a light industrial park. This is their test kitchen location but they're adding more retail here which is awesome. They've also just added an espresso bar and offer affogatos. They have probably a dozen flavors available to taste and buy by the cup. They also have pints in the freezer available to buy. I've had the Italian Dream (vanilla chocolate and cashew bits - delicious) and the lemon sorbet (tart and light and fantastic). All the samples I tried were fabulous. Also really liked the vanilla with cherries in it.They use allulose, an alternative sugar as their sweetener. Supposed to be less caloric and less impact on blood sugar.Great addition to the area - just down the row from Prager Brothers.

Oooooh, this was a place we stumbled upon after grabbing some baked goods a building over - and I only wish I had a freezer in my hotel room. Gelatolove makes incredible frozen treats - inventive flavors and amazing quality. This is where they make all the flavors, and they've got a small counter where you can buy scoops or pints to go. (I think they've got another location that's just a scoop shop.) The gal behind the counter encouraged us to try many samples, and everything was great. We had a struggle to narrow it to three flavors for our large cup, and went with their incredible cherry gelato (with imported cherries), pistachio (stunning!) and my all-time favorite, passionfruit. Everything was so good and I would love to stock my freezer at home with them, but I live a few hundred miles away. ;)

I'd consider this place a hidden gem! It seems like very few people are aware of this location. It's not too far from their Carlsbad Village location, but it's much closer to me from work! The shop is small and a little out of the way in a hidden plaza full of other small shops. There's 2 doors of entry and you can clearly see where and how all the gelato is made. It was pretty empty when I went. The family before me had just happened to come across this location. I hope more people will make this location pop! As for their gelato, it's different than what I'm used to. In a good way! I go the fresh mint stracciatella - and they weren't kidding. It's so fresh! It's not that green fake stuff you normally get, but there were literal pieces of minced mint plant throughout. It was delicious!! They also have sorbet flavors that tasted great for nondairy. I'd like to see them expand some more. I ended buying 5 cups (they called it a pint, although it was more like half..) so it was pretty pricey (~60$)Nonetheless, I'm so glad I found this place and was able to try it out!

All I can say is YUMMY! They have a big delicious selection of dairy free gelatos. My husband, who eats it all, say everything was delicious. The girls at the counter are very friendly.

This is a great place with amazing low-calorie handcrafted gelato. Flavors are outstanding. Pistachio, salted caramel, chocolate chip and passion fruit sorbet are my favorites. Located near (the famous) Prager Brothers bakery, you can also see the gelato chefs in action. Got four pints to go through this rainy week after tasting more than ten different delicious flavors.

Wonderful! Helpful staff, loved being able to look through the glass and see the gelato being made. I liked the creative flavors and everything tasted great. Pricey, but not more so than other upscale ice cream shops.

Just went there with my husband who is from Italy. It is fantastic gelato! I highly recommend nocciola and pistachio. The owner is from Italy and really nice as well. If you stop by to get bread from Pragers or coffe at Leap, it is a must. Otherwise it's worth a D-tour. ;)

Such a cute gelato place where you hear the staff speaking Italian and see the gelato bring mare in front of your eyes. The flavors are TO DIE FOR and they're gelato has significantly less fat and sugar than ice cream.
