We're staying at the hotel next door, and we're really looking forward to eating here. We called ahead and came in with a large party, we gave them notice of how many adults and kids were coming. We were happy to see the restaurant was practically empty. It's a very large space. It looks rather new, or newly updated. It's very open space. We were very disappointed with the service, and quality of food. We went through a couple baskets of chips, and salsas, but overall we were always waiting on something. Our food came out a full hour + later. We were so disappointed. I ordered the steak fajitas, and there was little to no steak and veggies, the steak quality was poor as well. Overall, a lack luster experience, and unfortunate at best.

I went to Gecko grill to get a burro burrito with chicken add avocado ... to go , I waited at least 25 minutes and when I got it home it was pork !When they first opened the service was good and the orders didn't take 30-45 min , and they got what you ordered right . Yep going downhill fast ..

The food keeps getting worse. I use to come here often but it keeps getting worse. I had the Sonoran hot dog and it should be a hot dog wrapped in bacon. Instead they put a couple processed bacon crumbs on it. This hot dog was burnt. I took a bite and it tasted terrible. I pulled the hot dog out and saw it was burned. I told them and they made a new one. It was ok still only a couple crumbs of bacon. The cheese crisp was good. The chips did not seem fresh. The red salsa is like water it's different than the 1st weeks when they opened. They serve a little dish of bean dip and it's good but very spicy now. Green salsa Delicious. I nay not be back. My stomach started hurting a few hours after I ate. This is all I have eaten today. It's been 7 hours and I'm still feeling bad.

So we came here for our Weekly Sunday Date Night. First and foremost our server was excellent! The food that we got was amazing, I forget the name of what I ordered but it came with this jalapeño cream cheese "Forget about it!!!" It was to die for, their chicken was flavored well and the combo was perfect compliment to each other. We also split their 3 Chimis as a dessert and it was soooo good. This place is really good, I'm not sure what I was expecting but they did well above that!

Nice ambiance, FANTASTIC service, but most importantly, the food was not only HOT, but DELICIOUS! We asked the server why the restaurant wasn't packed but I think it was just our timing. I would definitely go here over any other Mexican restaurant within 10 miles. I had the Baja Fish taco and it was so full of yummy hot fried fish, I was able to make two tacos using the two corn tortillas. My husband ordered chicken flauta dinner and they were perfect. I read through the reviews and was surprised by a handful of negative comments. All I can say is our experience was exceptional and my husband is Mexican and we eat out regularly.

This place is still working out some kinks, but I really liked it for Happy Hour!I live a couple miles from here (and have lived on and off from this area for years) and I think this space has been vacant more often than not and I hope Gecko Grill is finally the restaurant that stays open for a long time.Like I said, I came here for Happy Hour (which they don't advertise on their website but I took a photo of). We got the mini bean chimis, a cheese crisp, and beef street tacos which were all great! I also like the chips and salsa they give you comes with bean dip as well. I will say the margarita I had was pretty run of the mill. Granted, I just got a standard house margarita, but when it was fairly weak (again, even by HH house margarita standards) and the first couple sips tasted lukewarm until the ice settled in). Also, they don't actually have a drink menu available right now. I think this will all come together in time. The restaurant itself is nice and service is friendly. They have a nice patio as well. I'll be back (especially since Happy Hour is seven days a week).

I think this place is awesome but the prices are a little high. I think it's probably due to the high rent because of how large this place is. It has an unnecessary bar and seating for way too many people but the food is excellent and it's one of the few places you can get the free chips and salsa with your food. I love going here with my girl friend and splitting the fajitas.

I never post a review but I have to say the food taste horrible. The service and people they are so nice , great service but bad food . I tried the shrimp cocktail and Chile relleno and both don't taste good.
